I love the chopped salads and friendly helpful employees! Everyone is always so happy at the counter and sometimes it just really makes my day. Definitely get a take out cocktail for later - you won't regret it.

I frequent this place and I'm always so surprised and satisfied. The food is clean eating at its best. The cedar plank salmon salad is a favorite of mine... get the grape dressing. With the chilly weather coming, I've decided to try some of the soups lately. The Italian wedding soup was fabulous and today I tried the Italian sausage and potato soup. First whiff and I was transported back 50 years to my Grandmother's in Brooklyn. The flavor was equally delicious and felt homemade. As always... big compliments to the chefs and the friendly staff.

Main Course has worked with my venue for decades and they deliver above and beyond EVERY TIME. Their execution of not only weddings, but every type of event is flawless, their staff is top notch and their food is truly some of the best catering out there. We host an annual auction for 200+ people that has heavy logistics and they are the only caterer that I trust delivering to my expectations. HIRE THEM and you will not be disappointed - guaranteed.

Main Course Catering & Events is the real deal for anyone seeking to host a customized, fresh and elegant event in the Hudson Valley. The menu was creative and exciting, and every items served was delicious - from the hors d'oeurves and cocktails, to the salad, entrees and cake and desserts for both the wedding day and the rehearsal dinner (the latter was hosted by groom's family). It is amazing that you prepared and cooked everything on site for our outdoor venue overlooking the Hudson River. Our guest raved but were especially touched by the way you and your team meticulously honored each unique dietary need. The alternatives were beautiful and delicious, and your team explained to each guest that they were safe with you!

We also want to call out your team's fine service. So impressive, like a silent army attending to our every need - keeping the event moving along smoothly. You all worked so hard - so we didn't have a worry in the world!

Main Course helped to cater our welcome party, wedding day & sunday brunch. Not only did the food taste amazing but they also had the most gorgeous presentation that fit in perfectly with our venues vibe! The food was absolutely incredible and all of our guests were raving about it. Our guests were so specific about a certain item they each loved. Whether it was the cake, the carrots in their appetizer or the omelet at brunch the next day, everyone truly enjoyed their food experience throughout the weekend

In addition to the delicious food, they also helped in securing the rentals for the entire weekend (including the tent, dancefloor, chairs, tables, napkins, dinnerware, you name it!) They really helped to bring our vision to life and I am so grateful for all of their help and expertise in answering all of our questions throughout the process. I still am getting tears in my eyes thinking about seeing the reception tent for the first time, it was just truly every thing we had hoped for & more. It was literally a dream come true.

Amanda and the entire Main Course team were simply amazing and did not miss a thing. They helped plan and cater my son's recent destination wedding and we cannot recommend them enough. Hiring Amanda as our party planner was the best decision we could have made! It was a huge undertaking for us to do an out of town wedding with unknown vendors, but Amanda guided us through with professionalism, patience and a calmness every step of the way. She always figured out a way to make it happen. She was accessible, organized and on top of every single detail. Her party planning skills plus the expertise of Main Course Catering were the perfect combination. From the seamless setup and quick flip of the room, to the care with each place setting, to the abundant, beautifully displayed, delicious food and attentive staff…the list is endless. People have not stopped raving about the cocktail hour and all of the food! And no one had to wait for a drink!! The entire team went above and beyond and we are so grateful. The Main Course provided 3 dinners and2 lunches for our group of artists and everything was amazing. They really listened, understood who we were and what we wanted and delivered above and beyond at a good price. We will happily use them again if wet are in the neighborhood.

We could not have been happier that we chose Main Course to cater our wedding! They came highly recommended by our venue and truly exceeded all of our expectations. We were fortunate to work closely with Emily during the planning process. From the get go, Emily really took the time to understand the culinary vibe we were looking for and provide suggestions to help us design a menu that felt uniquely us. Wedding planning can be stressful, and decision fatigue is a real thing, especially with catering and rentals decisions. Emily’s relaxed but solutions-oriented approach helped us narrow down options and make final selections, while providing us with the reassurance that we were right on track. We also had tons of questions throughout the process, and Emily and everyone we worked with at Main Course was so responsive, professional, and attentive. During our tasting (which was an absolute blast), we were able to provide feedback directly to the chef, and he talked through dish modification ideas on the spot. I also had a specific signature cocktail request and shared a recipe with the beverage director, which he was more than willing to accommodate (the cocktail turned out exactly like at my favorite bar). The support we received throughout the process was very individualized. As a full service caterer, Main Course provided incredible support with many planning aspects, including rentals, table configurations, and day-of timeline planning, which made our lives a lot easier. It’s easy to tell that Main Course is a catering company that truly cares about their clients.We can’t express how amazing the entire Main Course team was on our wedding day. Emily was somehow everywhere, directing other vendors, coordinating decor set up, ensuring we made it down the aisle, keeping us on track with our timeline, and also serving rolls to guests at dinner. We don’t know how she did it! The servers were also phenomenal. Several guests have made a point of telling us they’ve never been to a wedding where the servers were so on top of things—constantly refilling beverages, clearing quickly and seamlessly, etc. Not to mention the food, which was delicious and everything we hoped it would be! Working with Main Course was hands down one of the best decisions we made during wedding planning, and we can’t recommend them enough!
