Working with Main Course Catering and Amanda was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From our very first meeting, it was clear we were in expert hands. Amanda’s guidance throughout the planning process made everything feel seamless—her experience, calm demeanor, and attention to detail put us completely at ease.
On the big day, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Everything was handled flawlessly, and we were able to fully enjoy the moment, knowing Amanda and her team had it all covered. The food was absolutely incredible—our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was.

Amanda and the team at Main Course were stellar from the first phone call. The menu options were fantastic- delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. The crew was attentive, friendly and super helpful - and my kitchen was spotless at the end of the party! The event could not have been as big of a success without the amazing efforts of Main Course - I will be sure to use them again!

We catered our Mother’s Day gathering through Main Course catering in New Paltz.
I cannot say enough good things about how happy we were. The food was ready for pick up as promised. We ordered spring rolls, dumplings, cold, sesame noodles, and the mini brioche sandwich platter. We had the chicken salad, the roast beef, and the vegan tofu sandwiches.
the food was fresh. Excellent delicious very high-quality. The presentation was beautiful.
The sandwiches came with gherkins and fresh cherry tomatoes, and very fresh SNAP peas.
Beautifully packaged and easy to bring back to our house.
Dealing with Maincourse to determine the menu was easy and very very professional.
We will use Maincourse for all our Catering needs in the future.

From our first communications with Amanda, through our wedding day, when incredibly strong winds posed significant challenges to our entire outdoor celebration, the team came through with unflappable professionalism, calm, resourcefulness and good humor, as the event plans were adjusted on the fly to ensure that our guests were as warm and comfortable as possible. Our guests raved about the food, which was scrumptious, ample and beautifully presented. I can't recommend Main Course highly enough - they're pros and they'll come through for you and make your wedding-planning life much easier!

Main Course Catering provided amazing communication and were very prompt in responding to all of our questions throughout the wedding planning process. The quality of their work and value was extremely personalized - Amanda went above and beyond to help make our day go as smoothly as possible. We had a lot of different dietary restrictions, and they made us feel that those accommodations were easily attainable. Not only was our food allergen-friendly, but it was also incredibly high-quality and delicious. They even helped us with rentals since our venue required us to bring in everything from utensils to tables and chairs. We couldn't have asked for a better catering experience for our wedding day!!

Working with Amanda for wedding planning services and Main Course Catering has been an absolute dream so far! I love the chopped salads and friendly helpful employees! Everyone is always so happy at the counter and sometimes it just really makes my day. Definitely get a take out cocktail for later - you won't regret it.

We had the unique opportunity to book MC for our wedding on 11/16, and the experience was nothing short of incredible. From day one, we felt welcomed by the whole team, and instead of feeling like vendors to us, they felt like friends who were excited to collaborate. They worked with us and listened to our budget, vision, and overall look and feel of our day, and together, they crafted a dining and day experience that was truly beyond our expectations. The entire team is a blast to work with and one of our favorite moments was getting to be invited on site to try all of our food that would be served the day of. Fast forward to the night of the wedding, and the guests could not stop raving about the food! Sadly, as the bride and groom, we didn’t get to eat most of it, but we are so happy and thankful that our guests enjoyed everything. If the food wasn’t enough, working specifically with Amanda as our day of coordinator was the icing on the cake. She was hands down the best person to have in our corner throughout the journey and went to incredible lengths to ensure our day was everything we dreamed of. Not only did she understand our creative vision, but she was also incredibly organized and made sure that our other vendors understood the tone of the day. She put together extensive mood boards, timelines, and days of schedules to make sure that everything went off without a hitch (and that it did!), and she was there with us from the moment we woke up on the big day till the house lights turned on after the party. The day simply would not have been what it was if it wasn’t for her.

We feel immensely lucky to have worked with her and the entire team at MC. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you a million times over for making our day more special than we could have ever dreamed of! Please dont hesitate to work with them!

I frequent this place and I'm always so surprised and satisfied. The food is clean eating at its best. The cedar plank salmon salad is a favorite of mine... get the grape dressing. With the chilly weather coming, I've decided to try some of the soups lately. The Italian wedding soup was fabulous and today I tried the Italian sausage and potato soup. First whiff and I was transported back 50 years to my Grandmother's in Brooklyn. The flavor was equally delicious and felt homemade. As always... big compliments to the chefs and the friendly staff.

Hiring Amanda & Main Course was the single best decision we made in planning our wedding process. They are absolutely outstanding. Amanda is incredible at what she does - so thoughtful, thorough, level headed, and diligent. She knows everything there is to know about wedding planning and did not miss a beat. She was so helpful throughout our entire planning process and kept us so calm leading up to and throughout our entire wedding weekend. She was multiple steps ahead at every juncture. She is a true professional and I cannot recommend her enough. The Main Course catering team knocked it out of the park. This team is so talented and they have such a wonderful, dynamic, hands on crew. They made us feel so comfortable and understood. We received rave reviews about the food, the service, and the presentation. The staff were absolutely on point, so kind and professional.The food and beverages were AMAZING, and so creative - from the appetizers, the main entree, all the way through dessert, they did not miss a single detail, and made us feel so incredibly special and loved - ensuring we had a bit of everything offered to us, and that we were always well supplied with water or a cocktail! Main Course made our wedding dreams come true. Highly, highly recommend.

Main Course Catering & Events is the real deal for anyone seeking to host a customized, fresh and elegant event in the Hudson Valley. The menu was creative and exciting, and every items served was delicious - from the hors d'oeurves and cocktails, to the salad, entrees and cake and desserts for both the wedding day and the rehearsal dinner (the latter was hosted by groom's family). It is amazing that you prepared and cooked everything on site for our outdoor venue overlooking the Hudson River. Our guest raved but were especially touched by the way you and your team meticulously honored each unique dietary need. The alternatives were beautiful and delicious, and your team explained to each guest that they were safe with you!

We also want to call out your team's fine service. So impressive, like a silent army attending to our every need - keeping the event moving along smoothly. You all worked so hard - so we didn't have a worry in the world!
