We had lunch delivered, I bet the nachos are really good fresh at the restaurant. Tacos are good but pricey I think, my burrito was outstanding.

The pollo tacos were so bland and unseasoned. The chicken was boiled, that’s it. Not seasoned at all. I was so disappointed. I ordered the rice and it was hard and bland. The tres leche cake was molded. This is not the quality of food I would want to serve to anyone

Service was excellent. The food was fresh, quick to the table, and very delicious. The most authentic Mexican dishes we have had in a long time. Inviting, with indoor and outdoor seating. This is Definately not like the chain restaurants. This was our first time visiting, but will not be our last. A nice food stop when traveling North or South on I-87 past New Paltz or if you are otherwise in that area.

Quality has gone way downhill and prices uphill since new owners. We use to go once a week. Now I will never be going back. 1 crispy taco $7.50! Plus got to go order totally wrong so 2 people where still hungry and 1 wouldn’t touch their food. And manager would not accommodate to their mistakes

On May 12, 22 I ordered 5 tacos ? and received 1 super tiny taco for $10! I have ordered from Mexican restaurants before! Never ? paid $10 for 1 tiny taco! This order was through Uber eats! I will Never Order Again!

Feeling Very sad about Mexican Kitchen I've been coming to Mexican Kitchen for about 3 1/2 years and it was one of my favorite restaurants in New Paltz, maybe one of my fav Mexican restaurants. We hadn't been in a year and came in tonight at 4. We should have know that something was amiss when there was no wait.... We sat outside and ordered Sangria, guacamole and chips, tostada and the mole enchilada. Chips came out light colored oily and cold, salsa was completely different and bland. Everything was served on plastic and aluminum foil, the Sangria in paper coffee cups. The tostada which was always a favorite was oily, cold and the carnitas chunky and tan. The mole was very sad, it was cool, oily and sickly sweet. Our server was super nice and even gave us an extra round. He said they had new owners the last year and were short kitchen staff Even ok Mexican can be tolerated when piping hot. Cold, not good

Used to be the best! We loved the Meican Kitchen and are so disappointed in the food now. Truly tasteless. We miss the original manager. Worst Mexican food in town.

Food was decent.. probably won't go back because i found ants in the bottom of my chip bag. I wanted to really love this place because it's close and reasonably priced..... but the ants kinda did it for me.

The food is ok at best. The wait times are way too long and the last time we ate there they gave us the check and not even five minutes later approached our table and let us know that they "needed the table" since others were waiting. I understand it is a very small place, and I would never sit around and take up space in a place of that size. I have experience in the restaurant industry so I know how these things work. But, they had literally just handed us the check. It was beyond rude and I will never return! I love Los Jalapeños! Their food is much better and they are also extremely hospitable and welcoming! Never again for Mexican Kitchen!

Food was really good, found a new spot for when I go upstate! The waitress was very nice as well!

Not a great looking or roomy restaurant but excellent food. We get take out from here almost once a week.

Randomly chose this for our lunch stop on a road trip and glad we did! The locals must love this place. Very charming place with excellent food. Inside is a little tight offering very limited seating. To go order or door dash would be suitable for most but we were lucky enough to get a table. We hope to return again on our next trip!

Absolutely recommend there chicken soup and al pastor tacos. The food was fresh and so beautifully plated. The staff was friendly especially the young lady working the front of the house..thank you will definitely return and recommend.
