This place is a dirty dump. It has a Tesla charging station in its lot and the horrible old hag inside wouldn’t let me use the restroom unless I paid for a Snapple or coffee. Worst place ever.

Horrible service. The Spanish lady wouldn't tell us where the bathroom was unless we bought a Snapple or coffee. They have Tesla charging stations in their lot and hold the bathroom access hostage. The place is filthy , they don't use any of the money they get from customers to up keep the bathrooms. The lady's smock was clearly unchanged for a week or two. If you do visit that place do t leave a tip the service is abysmal. 0 stars for his place and it's waitress.

Food was great! Still typical diner food, and a bit overpriced. However, the food tasted good and the service was wonderful. Recommend if you’re looking for a diner spot while driving through New Paltz.

Okay, my food was actually pretty good, 3 adults and 2 babies that split one plate. I myself got 2 eggs and corn beef hash and toast, the other adults got French toast and bacon. then one order of silver dollar pancakes and American omelette. Again. Food was good. but my problem is it was absolutely not $90 dollars good. This place is a prime example of inflation. each piece of bacon was $1.25, and each plate was about $20 dollars. If you are looking for good food and have deep pockets then this is for you. But if you are like myself, working 60 hours to support 3 kids and an at home mom, and the side work, stay away. I wish I knew about the price before I ordered. I would have left. What’s the amount of how much it cost to eat here you would think they would redecorate and maybe make it look a little cleaner but no

I don't usually leave reviews below 3 stars but as someone who went to New Paltz and frequented plaza - I have to say I was shocked by how seemingly downhill it's gone. Recently when seeing a movie in rosendale - we wanted something to eat afterwards but not much was open so we ordered two Tuna Melts with added bacon to pick up. The food was fine although the bacon was not cooked fully which was concerning since it was $5 to add onto an already $16 dollar tuna melt. I was shocked by how expensive the meal was at a diner. The service was awkward at best but I can understand someone working later at night not wanting to be there. The vibes were definitely odd though when walking in to pick up. It felt dystopian. Prob will be making my tuna melts at home moving forward.

I've been taking my children and now my grandchildren here for 30 years. Great traditional diner atmosphere with good food and pleasant service.Parking: Plenty of charging stations for your fancy new electric cars. Great stop for our NYC visitors

Smells like pee. Walked into use the bathroom during a snowstorm with two little kids needing to use the restroom, they demanded that I buy some thing. Use the bathroom, Left five dollars on the counter and left super rude.

Today we stopped at plaza diner for lunch and we're very disappointed at the service. We sat at the booth for 25 minutes waiting for the server who finally come over. Understandably it was a holiday today but they were completely overwhelmed and at the end as we were leaving they were quite snotty!! Very disappointed!

Food was bland and basic. $17 for egg, sausage, bacon, home fries and toast. $14 french toast and sausage. Not worth it.
