My favorite shop in New Paltz. Their specialty slices have so much going on - it's the only place I can eat two slices and actually be full.

Have had excellent pizza here in past. Garlic knots aa good as you can get. But a real pleasant surprise was i asked if they have any sauce they sell. I took out an order of bolognese sauce. Home made and Incredibly delicious! Love the Sicilian and grandma slices. (And the beautiful owner should be in movies).

I have to write a rebuttal on what I wrote about 2 weeks ago. We went to Rocco's tonight to give it another try and I must say the pizza was delicious! I'm not sure if the guy who spoke to us is the owner or manager but he could not have been any nicer! He apologized for the pizza the last time. That apology means a lot especially since I'm running out of pizza places to go in New Paltz! I would have to say the food and the service was excellent!!! I will continue to frequent Rocco's. I will definitely give them 5 stars and they proved to me tonight they deserve it!!!

This past Friday, we ordered fried calamari to go from Rocco's. Very disappointing, as the calamari was rubbery and impossible to chew! The breading was also undercooked, not crisp as it should've been. Too bad, we had high hopes for finding a local place.

The Meatball and Sausage and Peppers heroes are delicious, stop by 2-3x a week. Their pizza is also the best in town in my opinion. Some other places are pretty debatable for the best spot, but it is all preference, can’t go wrong with some of the pizza places in New Paltz.Overall, pretty good.

Stopped in for a slice. When I mindlessly mentioned I knew he'd give me the lone leftover slice, the gentleman said no problem, and immediately cut the first slice from a fresh pie. And as usual, delicious!
