My Venezuelan boyfriend brought me here. My first time having arepas. The food was all so good. The staff was so nice and brought me an extra treat (ham roll which I don’t know what it is called) since it was my first time. I have no idea if it was authentic but he said it was almost like his mother’s. Coming back again.

Food was very very good and the service was excellent. I was able to place my order online and then just picked it up the day of. It was our NYE dinner and all the Vzlan guests loved it. IMHO this place has the best food of all NewRo. Keep it up Al Toque we see you!!

If you want good authentic Venezuelan food this is the place for you. The food at this place is so good! Starting from the cachapas, the tequenos, empanadas and ending with the hallacas and pan de jamon! My gosh all is so delicious. The service is super friendly. The staff makes you feel welcome and of course the place is clean.. As a very picky person this place got 5 stars very well deserved.!

We began just occasionally visiting the restaurant and ordering empanadas and tequeños. But the food is excellent and very much like the food we had in our homes in Venezuela. I have catered my last thanksgiving and Christmas family reunions and plan to continue doing it because everyone enjoyed the hayacas, pan de jamon and all the sides. All the food is prepared and ready on time. The people are amazing, friendly and the place is very organized and clean. Love it and it recommend wholeheartedly.

The food from NewYorkaltoque is delicious, the tequeños are amazing, the hallacas, the desserts—it’s authentic Venezuelan food. They are always very punctual and friendly. I had a work meeting with people from various nationalities, and they loved the Ponche Crema, the hallacas, and the ham bread. Oh, I almost forgot! For Thanksgiving, I ordered the turkey combo, and everything was delicious. 100% recommended!”
