Saw this place on TikTok and immediately wanted to visit but was so disappointed.
Food was such a waste! Ordered the Tequenos for an app and they were okay but the arepa was odd. It didn't taste like an authentic arepa. The chofan rice was the best part of the meal.
Also, we asked for tostones instead of plantanos but they made the mistake and still gave it to us, after noticing the mistake they ended up bringing out both and charged us for BOTH. $12 for 4 tostones is insane.
The place itself is gorgeous but food does not compare to the aesthetics. Save your money!

Katherine and Nicole were superb. My coworkers and I came to Jaleo to enjoy the happy hour and to celebrate two of my coworkers birthday. Nicole and Katherine took good care of us and I recommend anyone in the New Rochelle area to pass by to Jaleo for a good time !

Jaleo is absolutely beautiful! The interior design of the restaurant is amazing. It brings a wonderful vibe along with the music that has me dancing in my seat! I had a frozen margarita and it did not fail. The mofongo is the star of the show. I thought I made a good mofongo, but they have me beat by a long shot. The bartenders and the waiters showed exceptional hospitality and I would return for sure! Thank you Jaleo!

I had a fantastic experience here. The ambiance is perfect for a casual night out or watching a game with friends. I ordered the steak and fries, and the food was cooked to absolute perfection. The meat was juicy, and the fries were perfectly crispy. Our server Catherine was incredibly attentive, friendly, and quick with the drink refills. Excellent food, stellar service, and reasonable prices. I will definitely be back!
