Tucked away in the heart of New Rochelle’s predominantly Mexican community, this little hole‑in‑the‑wall spot turned out to be a gem. I ordered the steak tacos and the birria tacos, and both were surprisingly delicious — tender meat, great seasoning, and portions that actually feel generous. You can tell it’s family owned and operated from the moment you walk in. Definitely worth stopping by if you want authentic flavors without the frills.
All the tacos are outstanding! The carnitas is moist and flavorful; the Chicharrón is crispy with tender meat; the birria is complex and rich. All the toppings are phenomenal. The portions of the tacos are very generous (like 2 normal tacos) so bring an appetite. Luis and his family are generous and kind hosts.
Is one of the best places where you get a real taste of fresh Carnitas, tacos, chicharrones etc. definitely my place to go when I am in the area, they don't accept credit/debit cards, just cash or Zelle. place is very small and limited seats, other than these minor inconveniences is an excellent place to eat Authentic delicious Mexican food.
