I was in search of a great chef to come to our home and cook a surprise 60th birthday dinner for my husband and came across Chef Abyssinia with a Google search that turned up with many 5-star reviews. I called immediately and was fortunate she was available. It was a pleasurable experience from start to finish and if I could give more than a 5-star review I would. She is a warm, friendly, and incredibly talented chef who takes great pride in her work as was displayed by the preparation and deliciousness. I would go as far as saying it was one of our top 5 meals ever and we are big foodies. We went with the 4-course option that included Scallops Au Gratin, Winter Salad, Maple Glazed Salmon & Chocolate Mousse. We tasted the freshness and love with every bite. Thank you, Chef Abyssinia, for a memorable birthday celebration. Can't wait to have you back!!!

Chef Abyssinia cooked a 60th anniversary dinner for us and 3 other couples and I must say it was extraordinary in every positive way. She is a delightful person and came equipped with everything needed to prepare the food in our kitchen. It was as good as the very best restaurant food we have ever eaten. J*** chicken, plantain mash with mango salsa, coconut rice… a really fun experience that we will always remember. Chef Abyssinia is nothing short of dream personal chef. In addition to how easy she is to work with, her food was outstanding and exactly to our taste. The chef prepared 4 courses and each was interesting and delicious. We asked for an Asian themed meal and she brought wonderful add-ons of fortune cookies and ornate chopsticks to elevate the meal and make us feel special. We were a group of 7 and all felt full and cared for, including those with dietary restrictions. Highly recommend!
