I had no idea this was here 'till one day I got off the 61 after being really late for work and saw the word "Cafe" painted on a door and I was desperate for coffee (let's be real here, the New Rochelle delis have god-awful coffee). I went inside, it's a chill place, set up a little like a bar. Lots of innuendo and good stuff, but most importantly, I was pleased with the coffee. And, it was only a dollar! I came back later for lunch and had a pretty tasty chicken salad with lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. I think I like this place a lot and I hope to see it do well. Especially since I work a hop, skip, and a jump away.

I want to give this place 3 or 4 stars but am held back by the...ergh, atmosphere which felt more like a... bar scene. I stumbled upon it as they were giving out samples of the food. Absolutely fabulously homemade delicious food. If I was with someone, perhaps it would be more comfortable to dine-in. Will order take out for sure...
