“Thank you for a truly exceptional meal! Everything was so perfectly on point. The ribs were seasoned beautifully, perfect smoke ring, perfect bite. Beans don’t get me started—best we’ve ever had. Until today, I had yet to find a BBQ spot in my area that did Collards well but oh wow, perfectly tender and wonderful flavor. The Mac was creamy deliciousness & the coleslaw was fresh and crisp. You all are cooking with love and true skill and it shows in everything that you’ve made for us. Wife just said “I should be full, I think my mouth has just convinced my stomach that I don’t need to stop.” followed by “I could eat the bbq sauce with a spoon.” Thanks again for such an awesome meal, can’t wait to try the brisket!“

“Shared a wonderful meal here with a college athletic team I was transporting. The staff was friendly, took care of my passengers, and provided a hearty spread for them. I really enjoyed the chicken marsala, and the penne al la vodka. The apple crisp for dessert was delectable.“

“My now wife and I had our wedding at this venue 2/2024. We had noticed that there is not many recent reviews posted and didn’t know why. The coordinator, Nikki, sold us from our very first visit. She is extremely knowledgeable in the wedding industry and assisted us for almost 18 months answering every question and thought with patience and kindness. On our wedding day, she coordinated our 23 person bridal party (with TWO 18 month olds) with absolute ease. If anything went wrong on our day, we wouldn’t know it.Not only did we enjoy Nikki and her staff’s complete professionalism, but we heard nothing but compliments from our guests, including family (trust me they would let us know) and even our vendors. Nikki has strong connections to all vendors, new relationships and long standing, which allows the day to flow seamlessly.This venue offers a unique, traditional vibe. Although much different than the modern barn look, all of our guests marveled over the antiquity and design. In case we didn’t emphasize enough, our guests went out of their way to tell us these things.The food was paced amazing and nothing but compliments on the taste. Nikki set aside multitudes of food and drink for my wife and I in our suite to share. We were never parched or hungry as some would say on their big day.If we had to do it again, we would choose the Meadowbrook 10/10 times.“

“We only discovered Miz Hattie by chance, as it is somewhat hidden in a row of shops. But that's how it is with real treasures! Everyone is very nice and friendly and the food is amazing! You absolutely have to try the garlic/jalapenio sauce. You can tell that everything is made with love! Unfortunately there is no branch here in Germany. :(“

“Wonderful event, however the facility definitely while traditional could use an upgrade. Catering also while plentiful showed lack of care for the event, like huge pork ribs that barely fit on a plate, and lack of sauces for entrees, baked potatoes served as huge uncut pieces.“

“My wife and I had Flores cater our wedding in October. We had the best food experience with the Flores team. We absolutely feel in love with the menu at our tasting and the food at our wedding was cooked to perfection. We got married at Locust Grove, which has a full kitchen setup.Our guest raved about the food for weeks! (We’re still hearing about it from friends and family). The beef tenderloin was fantastic, our guests raved about how perfect it was cooked, a true feat especially when prepared in mass (150 guests). Everyone loved the chicken empanadas, the mojo chicken, the charcuterie cones, and the tuna tartar. We opted for a vegetarian pállela for our vegan/vegetarian friends and it was a hit. The deal was sealed when everyone lined up for seconds of dessert, Flan and Ice Cream.The staff was also exceptional and we want to shout out Melissa and Danielle for making it the best day of our lives. Thank you Austin for making it the best meal for us and our guests. We highly recommend going with Flores for your wedding our other events.“
