Yes, as a discerning NYC bagel enthusiast, I'm always searching for the perfect bagel. Since this was my first visit to this place, I chose my usual—a plain garlic bagel, not toasted (because a fresh bagel doesn't need to be toasted), with just butter so I could enjoy the flavor of both the bagel and the topping. The Bagel Shoppe has been my go to bagel store for decades. In addition to great bagels the sandwiches and prepared foods are excellent. The service is friendly and fast. It is a must visit bagel shop and deli.
