I tried Maria’s and Mix today for the first time and it was amazing! I ordered a simple and traditional Puerto Rican meal of rice, black beans and canoa (sweet plantain with ground beef). Maria’s And Mix Kitchen is a very little restaurant with very flavorful food. The food is incredibly delicious and made with love and care. The menu includes an arrow con pollo that was delightful, super moist, flavorful and fresh. A grilled chicken sandwich with fried yucca had great quality garnish, moist chicken, and perfectly toasted bread, with yucca fries that were not greasy. A simple and traditional Puerto Rican meal of rice, black beans and canoa was delicious, with flavorful and fluffy rice, tasty beans, and a canoa cooked to perfection with ripe plantain and well-seasoned beef. The Pernil and baked chicken is also a hit. Service is very friendly and excellent, with outstanding service from the staff. The space is bright, clean, and welcoming. Parking is good. It is a welcoming and warm establishment to sit down and have a good meal. Everything is run with passion and heart.
