The actual club inside is awesome, no complainants there. My issue is with the bouncers outside that allow degenerates to hang outside the club waiting for people to leave. I got robbed by 2 black kids hanging outside that targeted me when I left since they assumed I had money. Don’t come here they obviously don’t know how to take care of their customers.

Sad to see this place closed when I visited the city recently.. used to come here a lot and had the best time of my life every time. The blonde bartender Ashley with the green eyes was the most gorgeous woman I'd ever seen and best service I've received at a club! Hope you guys come back soon n better than ever!!!!

One of the most racist disgusting establishments in New York. The bouncers and staff only have one objective, underage white girls and Justin Bieber lookalikes. Black women, don't even bother. Any person of color, better have on their diamond chains and best monkey performance at the door for the slightest chance of entry. The Police turn a blind eye, whether informant immunity or on the take, the NYPD shamelessly barricade city blocks, day after day, playing personal security for the club, COSTING tax payers MILLIONS to provide preferential service to the owner, Richie Akiva, who's moral compass is as small as his appearance. A culture vulture in the truest form, who has done zero to improve the communities who's art he has been profiting on for decades to empower caucasian posers and his odd fasciation of adolescents. You will find him from one event to another, sneaking into pictures with celebrities, whether in the background or sitting on their laps, with the smile of a giddy school girl meeting her idol for the first time. But unfortunately, just some weird 40 year old, with no class. Artists who support this appalling person, only accredit to their own poor character and associates. There are hundreds of better options out there, with much more class in how to operate a business, and those that elevate communities. By supporting 1OAK you are simply endorsing racism, corrupt Police, bleeding communities and an Epstein type owner with a Napoleon complex . Ended up at 1Oak, no you ended up a D'Bag, just look at the type of ppl there, desperate for attention. This goes for Up & Down and the Butt er restaurant.

A very bad place of choice which I have made to goOn a Friday night and I had booked my tickets online. When I checked with the bouncers or security. They didn’t allow me and they judge people by their color and looks. Seems like they were allowing people who they knew. It seems like a racial discrimination which the shouldn’t be doing.I would like to say treat everyone Equally. Not a good place for Indians.

I was having a girls night at this bar, I had the time of my life. We met a promoter who got us in and the experience was amazing. Would definitely recommend going. Everyone was nice and polite. Amazing bartenders. Our promoter was the life of the party and me and my girls found a nice spott!! Would definitely recommend going again.

Going to Bootie is like going to a huge house party where all the guests are your best friends, except unlike your best friends, you do not know them, and they also happen to share your love for mash-ups and dancing. WIN.Note that your feet will be stepped on and drinks will be spilled here, so don't wear anything too nice or too uncomfortable.

This is one of my most favorite dance clubs! The mashups are fantastic and the DJs are great! I have been there over 15 times and I have never seen a fight or issue. Lots of dance floors, and they now serve food downstairs, which the pizza is delicious by the way. I love the many different shows they support and put on. Amazing that they support all walks of life. I recommend this place to all of my friends.
