Customers ought to know the facts before posting. 1020 Bar is awesome. The "random bartender'" has been there for many years. Recent management/ownership has changed (much for the better) and I'm very sure any closing was a temporary safety issue. Try to be like the bar-chill.

They do not serve food yet. The bartender was inebriated, yet sweet, but my sister had not finished checking out, and he pointed out that she didn't tip him. He proceeded to discuss that with customers at the bar. It's not cool. However, cool place once they get back to business .

Second all the comments about sexual harassment. Went there with my wife and some guy who works there (Rob? Ron?) tried to get her phone number when my back was turned. Asshole vibe. Also they were out of whiskey!! All whiskey. Wow.

Love this bar it is the best place to go to after a dinner. Bartender is very nice and social, makes me want to stay longer for the hospitality. His name is Alex. Drinks are classic house and have a pool table, so it’s a good spot to go to for fair drink prices and pool.

Super low key bar. Has a pool table which is dope. Bartender cute too. If you see a tall gorgeous dark skins female ask for the bartender special. It's a sweat and light drink mixed with some juice and malibu. (Mind you not an official drink)

Favorite bar in the city. Half-off Moscow mules are the best. Alex, the bartender, was great, even when it got swamped. My group got super drunk and chatty and he was awesome.

This place is infamous for being unsafe in almost every way possible. The owner once asked a female friend where she lived and cornered us in a booth. He's told queer couples to take it outside and forced them to leave. He offered my friend $100 to have sex with him. Outside of the owner, the people in 1020 are generally unsafe as well. Two men once tried to physically fight me and another woman outside of the bar. The men here are generally very aggressive and the typical interactions are much older men hitting on college girls, including freshmen that the owner "loves to have in the bar". I spit on 1020 every time I pass by. I'd recommend you do the same
