One of my favorite 5-star stays in Manhattan. I was able to check in early around noon, and all of my luggage was brought up to my room. I was given an upgrade to the larger Grand Room and enjoyed the extra space, considering square footage in Gotham can be hard to come by. I had room service on two occasions, for a quick pre-dinner bite and in the morning for breakfast. Hotel staff were always courteous and helpful. I appreciated the attention to detail on the room was furnished. I didn't use any of the hotel amenities, but was glad they were there. 4pm late checkout was included in my reservation, so I got to sleep in which is always nice. The perks of being a platinum Amex member makes stays this like worth it for sure.

Located very close by to Central Park and 5th Ave, and just a little further to Times Square and Broadway. The location is convenient for walking around. The hotel feels vibrant; front desk and restaurant staff especially are nice attentive and lively. The lobby is large spacious and light, which is very welcoming. The suite (1121) was spacious, though if it had a more open concept between the bedroom and living room, it would've felt more spacious. Unfortunately the air conditioner was not working...set at 65 degrees and it was blowing out hot air making the room be 80 degrees...had to open the windows in order to get cool air instead. Regency Bar Restaurant has delicious food, friendly staff, nice vibe, and reasonably priced. There is also a cute coffee shop next to the hotel if you want some pasties too. I'd come to stay here again.

Disclaimer: I work in Manhattan as a highly trained fine dining chef.I don’t like leaving bad reviews but the food was truly awful.Room service, coffee, and dinner in the restaurant all terrible. The main reason Im taking the time to say this is that the food at the Miami Beach Loews is so good compared to the Manhattan Loews it needs to be talked about. My first visit to Miami Beach Loews the food wasn’t anything to write home about(2017?)However I remember my next visit 2018 they hired a new chef, revamped the menu and the food was unbelievably good. I stayed there again 2019/20/21 and the food was amazing each time. The pool food, room service, coffee and dinner inside the hotel, perfect! Not sure if that chef is still in Miami but I would highly recommend having him come to the Manhattan location to fix the food. The food was so bad I’ll never stay there again which is a shame bc front desk and doormen at the Manhattan location are top notch.

Positive: - Room size is definitely a big plus. - They use one of my favorite shampoo/conditioner because the salon is located inside the hotel - good location Okay: - The place is a bit pricy for the level of service, amenities, and furnishing.

in my humble opinion, this place is about 5/5 star. why buddy? well, for starters, the gym has a smith machine. also, one night while going up to my room, some gypsy voraciously welcomed me to NY and told me she hopes I have an umbrella (I'm from cali my dudes so I ain't have nunna dat!). I told her thanks I don't have one so she gave me hers. flash forward a couple days and NY pours rain and floods. auspicious encounter with a gypsy in my books for sure!

Wow. Stayed here for a week before a business trip with my 17yo. I stay at a lot of hotel properties and was super impressed with the staff attentiveness, hospitality and downright kindness. Was completely floored by one gentleman at front desk- can't remember his name but older gentleman and was just the sweetest- even giving comped pastries and cappuccino for the little shop next door. Hotel bar/restaurant was awesome - my daughter swears they have the best lobster roll she has ever had. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet (even though we faced Park Ave). Hotel is near so many museums, 5th Ave, theater district. Was a delightful stay!

Great hotel and staff! Everyone was courteous and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and I visit NYC for work on a regular basis. This hotel is on the top of my list now and I've been to all of them.

If you don’t want to lose money stay somewhere else. I was initially put me in a room which was tired and tatty but they moved me the next day. I have been home for 5 days and they are still charging my credit card even though I am no longer there and the bill has been paid in full. The staff are the most inefficient I have gone across in a long time. I also paid for my incidentals and car to the airport in cash as I did not trust them and they charged my credit card. This hotel and management snd some of the front desk staff staff are an absolute disgrace - never again

We love staying at the Loews Regency in NYC. We would stay any other place. The rooms are clean, modern and guest friendly. The staff is 100% attentive and we never have any issues. The location is quiet, safe and perfect for visiting any area of NYC and outside of the city. Easy access to all major Transporation.

We had an amazing stay at the Loews Regency. For NYC the rooms are way bigger than many other hotels. The location is lovely on Park Avenue and only a couple blocks from Central Park and within walking distance to the MET and Guggenheim. The staff were all professional, friendly and efficient. I enjoyed the spacious gym and free complimentary coffee downstairs every morning. We stayed in a double room and there was plenty of room for ourselves and 2 teenagers. If we had to go to the city again I would for sure stay at the Loews.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Our room was very spacious and the location was perfect! I highly recommended staying here for a true NY experience. Central Park is a short 5 min walk, subway station just a couple block away.

The staff were professional and friendly. Room and common areas clean. Felt for $600/night the room would have been bigger and or better view versus air conditioners and fire escapes. I get it is Manhattan, but still expensive for what you get.
