Very cool vibe. Food was tasty but don't expect “high end” it was very tasty and the prices were not exorbitant
We came to 886 for dinner on a Friday night. It wasn’t too busy when we came around 7ish and the food did not take too long to come out. We got the honey glazed popcorn chicken which actually came with honey on the side and the shaky fries. Both were solid appetizers. we also ordered the lo ba beng and the dry beef noodle which were also amazing. The noodles were spicy which I enjoyed. The restaurant itself is very fun. It’s got a neon interior and good music playing!
Our server Shika was very attentive and kept checking in on us. She also was on top of our allergies and making sure we were taken care of in that regard. Huge shout out to her for making it a memorable night for us!
Food quality and authenticity are far from when the restaurant started years ago. The 三杯鸡 is dry and tastes nothing remotely close to the original dish. Also Dey and overcooked. The other dishes are overly salty and cater to the western palette.
Came here on recommendation from an acquaintance. It was for for birthday lunch. Surprisingly good and definitely recommend.
Such a good and fun spot to get delicious Taiwanese food!!

The negative comments online don't reflect the quality meal I just enjoyed. The team is extraordinary! Their dishes and customer care earn perfect scores. Waiters were professional, our food came promptly, and all items were cooked perfectly. This spot is consistently good and I tell others so!

Gave it a 2nd shot 2 yrs later and it was yumz! So happy cuz the first time we ordered about 5 dishes and they were all misses. Not authentic TW flavor, and sorely disappointed since recommended by RD 阿滴 and 黃大謙 on YouTube.
This time my friend & I got beef noodle soup & LoBaBeng, and they were both yumz! The beef broth looked plain, but plain it was not. Nice herbal taste to it, some sweetness, noodles AL DENTE, and they were nice enuff to give me some diced red peppers that really upped the flavor for me ❤️
LoBaBeng secret ingredient is peanut sauce, which I initially thought wouldn’t work, but how wrong was I 😅
Overall a good time! Liked the decor w/ all the TW singers plastered on the wall 😊 such a throwback!

Flavorless beef noodle soup. Was very disappointed. Go to four four south village for good beef noodle soup.
The setting is ideal and the servers make you feel welcome. This place connects with neighborhood culture. Their dishes and service delivery earn highest scores. These workers can be picky with friendliness yet remain reliable. This restaurant offers real taste.

sourdough scallion pancake 👌
cold sesame noodles 👌
taiwan tea 👌
It’s fine. The owner’s YouTube food show? Fantastic — guy clearly loves food and knows his stuff. That’s why I went.
But honestly? Little letdown. Turns out it’s basically fast food with a twist
