First of all, I NEED to say that the service here is PERFECT. Me and my buddies were visiting New York City, and we ended up taking the wrong subway into Brooklyn, so we ended up being late to our reservation...by almost two hours. The thought of eating here again keeps me going between visits. The employees display friendliness, warmth, welcoming behavior, and professionalism. The people at my table made it special at Añejo, and the service was reliable. Their servings guarantee food for a later time. I score this restaurant at the peak.
The service at Añejo was really good, very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the cocktails weren’t the best; I think they could use a little improvement. The food had good flavor overall, but the excessive use of fresh jalapeños overpowered the other ingredients.
However, the Tres Leches dessert was absolutely amazing, the best I’ve had so far.
