Loved this little spot! Very clean, pleasant dining area with friendly, welcoming staff. Food is well prepared and presented. They appear to have a strong Asian clientele, some of whom were ordering from the menu in what I imagine was Sichuan. Absolutely loved the fried dumplings…thin crust, flavorful interior and perfectly fried to a light crisp! Dan Dan noodles are tasty too! Looking forward to a return.
I walked by this place for years, always believing the negative reviews — and now I seriously regret it, because A-Jiao is so good. Their lunch special is generous and comes with either a spring roll or soup. The hot and sour soup was one of the best I’ve had, and the General Tso’s was actual chicken, not mostly breading like so many places do now to cut costs. The indoor seating area is surprisingly nice and perfect for a casual meal. I’ve ordered A-Jiao three times in...
Very consistent, solid Sichuan food in UES. Vibes are okay, nothing great, but the food is great & affordable and the service is friendly. Been here ~4-5 times and have had a great food experience each time.
