$3 Street tacos in the UES? Yes please. They are loaded to the brim Mexican style with lime, onions and cilantro. I always go for the pastor. They tend to get busy with construction workers around 11 AM (when they open) and it can take a few minutes. So pick an off hour to go. Also, if you want to be extra indulgent, get the nachos. Yum!
this is a gem for the neighborhood. we primarily order tacos, sopes, and huaraches but finally got around to trying the cemita - rich, delicious, and very filling, enough for my husband and me to split. the smoked chili pepper they placed in the middle in its entirety is perfection. among the meats I think the carnitas is the strongest. food can sometimes take a little while during the lunch rush, so I recommend calling in.

I got the steak quesadilla and the chicken tacos and wow they were delicious. Everything was delicious and flavorful. I also loved the salsa Verde. The worker was so friendly. Excellent lunch!
