“Los Tacos 1 is a must-visit spot for anyone craving delicious Mexican food in a bustling atmosphere. The pace is fast, but the food is the best ever! Their salsa is incredible—so tasty and spicy. Plus, the vibe in Chelsea Market adds to the whole experience. If you're in the mood for some mouthwatering tacos and a lively atmosphere, Los Tacos is the place to be!“
“I want to thank the managers Luis P and Rodrigo ABecause of the recipes they shared with me so I could open my taqueria in downtown Manhattan, those sauces are a delight and I will finally be able to make them the same, not to mention the exquisite flavors.“
“THEYRE THE BOMB ?Los Tacos No.1 is an absolute gem in the bustling streets of New York City.Despite the crowds of tourists, locals, and imitators, this taqueria stands out as the best of the best. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the enticing aroma of sizzling meats and freshly pressed tortillas. And let me tell you, the taste lives up to the hype.Today, we indulged in the adobada quesadilla on a warm flour tortilla and the classic adobada taco "con todo" on corn tortillas. Each bite was a burst of flavor and freshness that transported us straight to the streets of Mexico. While the prices may be a bit higher than what I'm used to paying, the quality, freshness, and flavor more than justify the cost. In fact, I'd argue that it's worth every penny.Having lived in New York City for over 30 years, I can confidently say that Los Tacos No.1 ranks among the top 10 taco spots in the city. It's a testament to their commitment to excellence and dedication to serving up authentic and delicious Mexican street food.Whether you're a tourist or a local, Los Tacos No.1 is a must-visit destination for taco lovers in NYC. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.“
“Los Tacos No. 1 is my favorite taco spot. When I found out about this seafood version of their restaurant, I knew I had to try it.Especial Ceviche - Love the crunchy tortilla bottom and creamy avocado slices on top. Very refreshing.Fish Taco - The fish was so fresh and fried perfectly. Absolutely delicious.Spicy Shrimp Taco - Not too spicy. So flavorful and tasty. It's awesome that Los. Tacos No. 1 is right next door, too. Next time, I'll grab a chicken taco before heading over for another shrimp and fish taco.“
“This place is a fantastic cocktail bar! ? Donna serves a wonderful selection of cocktails ?, wine ? , and alcoholic drinks.? Definitely try the Hall Pass cocktail! The staff ?? is super friendly and the service is quick. ⏲️ The ambience ? is great and the place is nicely decorated. ?️ I wish I came here sooner!“
“Ate a late brunch here and we really enjoyed it. Such a diverse menu, the food was so flavorful and the ingredients seemed quality. I got the Za'atar roasted cauliflower and loved it -- it was perfectly cooked. We also got chimichurri skewers as an appetizer which were also great! I was surprised how quiet it was, although it is probably more popular in the evening. This place deserves more traffic!“
“I'll keep this short and to the point: this is the best burrito I've had in the city hands down, and it's not close. Everything fresh and phenomenally seasoned, the lengua is succulent, the al pastor just the right spicy-sweet mix, I can't wait to try a few more meats. The staff is super friendly and the food comes out quick. As far as ambiance, getting in and out of there in record time is all you really want from a food truck. The best.“
“Ive been here a couple of times and as a LA native, this place definitely makes tacos that remind me of home. There is only outdoor seating so I would keep that in mind if you plan on visiting during colder weather. But The tacos were delicious and I got way more queso and chips than I was expecting. They were sold out the last time I stopped by so that should give you a good idea of the quality of the food.“
“Amazing restaurant ! Food is a chefs kiss! I order the. Crispy Cajun Salmon sandwich with a side of salsa when I want to be fake healthy haha! Staff was very welcoming, I will be back!Kid-friendliness: Place is located at the Hugh and plethora restaurants and options with table and chairs“
“Recent dinner at Tacombi definitely hit the spot. The tacos are packed with well seasoned meat, the crispy fish was nicely dressed with slaw and sauce, the salsa are delicious and pack a nice little punch. The tostada was crispy with a flavorful avocado topping and the quesadilla just barely visible under the mountain of Al pastor. My michelada was nice but I'd give the agave wine margs a pass if you're a marg purist. Juan Carlos took great care of us. On hand just when we needed with what we needed, friendly, and left us plenty of time to chow and digest before sending us on our merry way. We really enjoyed the little cabana - it's nice when the COVID inspired street cabana matches the good vibes indoors so even the dog can enjoy the night out.“
“Best tacos in New York CityWhen I come to New York, all I think about is Rostaco. It's really delicious here tooTacos and Consome are steamedIf you see it while passing by, be sure to try it!!!This is a really good restaurant that locals know!!!“
“Amazing and authentic taco spot!! The staff was super friendly, the service was relatively quick, and the food was so good. Honestly one of the best Mexican spots in the east village! I got this Al pastor burrito, which was great, and my buddy got the tacos. He said they were the best he's had in a while. Don't hesitate to try this spot it's phenomenal!“
“Sloppy and yummy Mexican tacos. So so so good! The taste was great, so flavourful. The soup next to it was perfect. I would highly recommend this place. Price was a little steep for my understanding but maybe that’s just the area. Friendly staff, cute atmosphere and great taste. What a dinner! Be prepared to get your hands dirty!“
“I had a lovely and memorable dining experience. I ordered the Spring rolls (which were delightful by the way): fried goodness served with lettuce wraps and julienne veggies. Super fresh and No guilt! My server, Alex, was what made the night! Although the spring rolls are served with fish sauce (delish!) Alex told me about the restaurant’s homemade soy sauce and offered to bring me a sample. What an amazing flavor profile: I happily alternated each bite between the two sauces. Sweet than savory—repeat. Also fun is the speakeasy style restroom and the sign above the toilet gave me a chuckle: “seat yourself.” Thanks for making my Friday night, Alex and 5Spice!“
“I was so happy when this place moved into the area, because there are very few good options for Mexican food, or at least there were. This place is really amazing there meat is fresh, their vegetables are fresh and their tacos are really great. The staff is super nice. The taco al Pastor here might be among the best in the city only because the pineapple is cooked on the grill and it’s really nice. That charred caramelized pineapple as a real beautiful flavor. Reasonable prices too.“
“This has become my favorite spot on St. Marks Street. I often come here for tacos and tostadas when I’m in the area. The tostadas have crunchy shells with moist and tasty beef. Everything I’ve had here is full of flavor and delicious. Always fresh - the taste and texture is just right.“
“Great!! As someone who grew up in TX, I’m usually disappointed in Manhattan’s Mexican food options, but this is actually authentic and delicious! The consumé in particular was phenomenal. Only way this could be better is if they also sold horchata or tamarindo aquas frescas?“
“I was feeling down and needed a happy moment or two. Found both with good food and great drinks at Street Taco. I was in the neighborhood and saw the sign out front for happy hour. Mood lighting accentuated with bright colors, and not too crowded. Just my vibe. There's a bright orange VW van in the back that serves as the kitchen counter, and the best part- Bad Bunny is in the drivers seat! There are big murals, brick and wood decor. Stepped up to the bar and it felt cozy. I ordered a Passion fruit jalapeño margarita $9 and mini nachos $6 (which were not so mini) off the HH menu. Loved the margarita. Sweet but not overly, with a spicy kick. As for the nachos, they were big enough for two me's, because I had leftovers. Needed to try one more thing, so I ordered a mini Brussels Sprouts Taco $3 and a Tecate $5 from Arturo. He was a lovely bartender. Friendly and attentive. Especially when he included me in a smooth tequila shot. That was nice. Parker from the restaurant was sitting at the bar next to me and made my glum, lonely night into a much better one. Chelsea and Andi rounded out the bar scene. With a disco ball, Street Taco Bingo, Taco Tuesday specials and a DJ on the weekends, Id have to imagine it gets rowdy here. For a Sunday night, it was quiet and perfect. I'm looking forward to coming back!“
“Saw this place in social media and I knew I had to try it, so I did and it did not let me down. The concept is a blend between mexico and India but the food if absolutely fantastic and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended to try! They have two locations, one in Hells Kitchen and another in Greenwich Village.“
“This is a very underrated truck in the city. One of the best birria spots I've tried in a while. I tried this place on new years, and it was sooo good, I dragged any of my friends that mentioned anything about food that day. I first got the birria torta, which was a heavenly sandwich, and a great deal for 10$. I also went back for a birria quesadilla, which was also really good! The service was quick both times, and I really appreciate them keeping reasonable prices on new years, with 1 dollar waters and 2 dollar sodas! I can't speak too much about the ambiance because I assume this was a temporary location for new years, but I would follow this truck anywhere. No food pics, food was gone way before I ever thought about taking a picture.“
“The chicken tikka masala and the naan feels authentic and is just a comforting but binge worthy meal to have. Their tandoori chicken wings are quite good as well. The naan tacos are better than the roti tacos cuz the rotis just disintegrate when you add all the toppings. Love all their chutneys as well!“
“The churros are good, and I really like the mushroom tacos. And when I got mushrooms in my burrito bowl. The chicken taco was a bit spicy for me. I wish I can ask for no spicy things when I get delivery, but there isn't the option to request adjustments or changes via door dash.“
“Top notch! I was skeptical of the high ratings since many of the places we've been to in Manhattan have been higher rated than I would give them but ZAZA'S has earned it. The turkey bacon was the best I've ever had and the French toast was divine. My husband also said it was 4.5 stars for him, the highest rating he voiced for any place we visited this trip.“
“cute restaurant, bangin tacos and tostadas. wish we had this back home ?Vegetarian options: took the veggie tacos with black beans to go, had some extra guac, the sauces are spicy but delicious (to my painfully white palate)i actually had to wait like half an hour after getting the food to eat it bc planning reasons that are on me and the food still was delicious.“
“Chef Juan is a magician in the kitchen, producing great tasting creations. Leeland spoiled us with an ultimate sampler table spread. Bite after bite my taste buds went crazy over the food. Everything we had was delicious. Try the pineapple salsa you'll love it. If you are ever near the lower Manhattan area, stop by. Thanks again Leeland and his crew for a memorable night.“

“The tacos were delicious. Just pick one. You won’t be disappointed. It’s more of a take out place. A few tables inside and out. The people working there seemed like they all had a gun to their head. No napkins in the dispenser and there was no hurry to fill it although a steady stream of customers were in and out. It happens I guess. Take out is the way here.“
“We came in for the bottomless brunch deal using a pulsd voucher and we were wowed! The tacos were all fresh and delicious!! Very unique and generous portions!! The margaritas were outstanding!! Our service was the best part, honestly…our server, Carol, was the sweetest and so attentive!! She made sure our drinks were full, that our tacos kept coming and we had everything we needed! It’s a fun place, super clean, and cozy. We can’t wait to come back!!“
“I believe Tacombi is doing great in the way they hire their staff. My first experience with Tacombi was at their location at 79th street and Amsterdam Ave. Their manager was a Latino man, who I observed going out of his way a few times to help on the floor and to greet customers even delivery workers. Unfortunately I do not remember his name but he must still be there since he does an amazing job.At this establishment, I ate both a chicken and steak quesadilla. The chicken and steak were flavorful and it is something that I would definitely order again.I also visited Tacombi on 70th street between Third and Second Ave. This time, I only went for a beer but I observed their hostess working the floor while taking care of the delivery workers. Every interaction was completed with effectiveness and a smile.Kudos to Tacombi and their belief in customer service.“
“Unfortunately I am attempting to finish this review in 2024, long after visiting this establishment so I do not recall my visit here besides giving it 5/5 stars. So in my very trusted book of ratings, I absolutely enjoyed this spot and the food was amazing. So I'll be back and do a better job reviewing next time.“
“Conmigo is fantastic any day of the week! With a great UES location, perfect ambiance, massive always evolving menu, and really great service, this place is securely on my list of go to NYC spots. The staff are really nice and if you’re lucky enough to meet Jack you’ll see how much care and effort are put into every single sip and bite at this establishment. Some highlights of this visit were the Snake Bite cocktail, the massive taco flight, and all 3 salads. DO NOT sleep on the salads. Easily some of the best I’ve had in NYC ever. I can’t wait for my next visit!“
“Omg…so good. Forgot to take pics because everything looked so delicious. Came in to dine-in but ended up getting takeout and we had the best experience. The host/server Kayla is so sweet and the food and drinks were quick. The margs are strong & not too sweet, we got strawberry, kiwi strawberry, mandarin, and blood orange to drink. All yummy! You 100% must get the street corn (we’ll come here weekly for this and margaritas), and the chicken tinga nachos were amazing too. Super flavorful and loaded! This is definitely a new go-to spot for us“
“I was having an active weekday morning and I wanted some good breakfast tacos. Hearty and fresh. I came across this food truck outside the New York Times building and the pictures depicted on the side do not do it justice for what I received. The tacos were heart with meat, eggs, veggies, some spices. As I type, I crave them.I could feel like there was real New York love embedded in this food. I would not want to go anywhere else.“
“We were in NYC for a couple of days, The Overlook was next door to our hotel so of course we went in. The first night we had a great few hours with Sara the bartender. She was super friendly and fun to chat with. We went again the next night to watch Monday night football. Ended up at the bar with the owner and a few of his friends. We had a blast! The wings were great, really good sauce. The bartenders were wonderful. We left feeling like part of the family!! Highly recommend stopping in there.“
“Authentic Mexican taqueria; excellently marinated meats; quick service. Protein cuts are standard variations of chicken, pork (al pastor with the pineapple was chef's kiss), beef, with some vegetarian and pescatarian (shrimp, fish) options as well.“
“My favorite grab-and-go coffee shop on my weekdays. The coffee is great and there are many fall menus to try. I have tried 4 of them and would say that the salted caramel latte is my favorite. The barrista is very friendly and the place is bright and pleasant despite being small with limited seating. They have a point card too. So, once you have completed your 10th cup, the 11th one will be free!“
“Bottomless brunch booking. Not sure what more people could ask for if you book this. Unlimited mexican food (which was really well cooked, the mahi mahi was excellent), drinks topped up throughout and a clean, comfortable boat. An excellent birthday, thanks to Tomasz and all involved in this venture.“
“Visited Lucio Angelita Tacos, what an outstanding spot. Lucio Angelita Tacos is a total gem of a find. Each and every single item that we ordered was incredibly fresh and flavorful. People who work there are incredibly pleasant and welcoming. I am already planning to go back to Lucio Angelita Tacos.“
“Wow! As someone who’s favorite tacos are all on the west coast this is the best place I have found in New York that matches that style. The al pastor tacos were perfect and the chilaquiles were amazing! Will definitely order from here again! 10/10 ?“
“First time here got the carne asado burrito, I have the flavors are a bit lacking but not bad at all, its a huge burrito they really stuff it so im not mad for paying around 15 bucks for this, would I come back? Sure nothing really is turning me away from the place but I do hope they work on they're “
“Found this random taco place in Harlem, and I thought it was amazing! We tried the tinga taco, barbacoa taco, and the korean bulgogi taco. I liked all three, but my friend didn't find them to be his favorites. Customer service was excellent. There aren't too many places to sit, but if you go at an off time, it is pretty easy to be able to hang out there. They had some great sodas there too.“
“Very much a what you see is what you get taqueria. Tacos are very solid for their price with lots of variety. Margaritas taste like a $9 margarita but that’s a steal around here. Would recommend but keep expectations where they should be.“
“No frills taqueria on a quiet street near Soho. It's a pretty small restaurant but there's additional seating at an outdoor shed. Chips and guac were solid but the horchata was deliciously sweet and enjoyable. We ordered the Barbacoa, Carne Asada and Pescado tacos and enjoyed them all. We also got the Birria Quesadilla and that was also quite good. Would definitely return again!“
“When a place is Fantastic in the food world... I have to show some love. Mexican food delivered to your home with perfection. I don't know the owners or anyone associated with them... But they deserve all the praise in the world for what they are doing. I have ordered from them at least 10 times and eveytime the quality they are putting out is incredible. I'm as picky as they come when ordering food, being in the industry for many years... This is one of my goto spots when I'm off.Cheers to El Gallo Taqueria whoever you are! Its crazy I've never actually been to the location when the delivery is so fresh. I never felt the need to go and actually sit down there lol PS My Favorites are The Baby Burrito with Barbacoa,The Gallo Wings,Torta and The Guac and Chips are on point. IF YOU LIKE MEXICAN FOOD THIS IS THE SPOT!!!“
“Stopped by for drinks to kill time while waiting for our reservation for dinner. Loved the vibes inside & the drinks were so good. Got their La Fiesta Espresso Martini & La Niña Fresa (in picture) both were very good. The espresso martini tasted like an ice vanilla latte lol. Later, we also got the Caribeña & the Mangazo which was also very tasty. Mangazo was a bit strong but still great. We left a little buzzed. Def would come back“
“Great happy hour deal, $1 taco and $9 margaritas. The tacos are actually really good. The margaritas are alright, kind just get them for the novelty of margs and tacos. Hard to get a table here during happy hour. The rooftop itself is nice and a good vibe.“
“This taco truck feels a bit like a hidden gem. Came across it while wondering around the Wall St. area and gave some tacos a try. I tried a new type of taco that I never had before which was this goat barbaccoa (chivo), which was amazing and very flavorful. I can't recall any taco truck or brick-and-mortar that I've been too that offers this, so I felt that was very unique and will get me to come back. The Al Pastor was also pretty banging. Fresh, juicy with pineapple, and very flavorful. We got some Jarritos as well and they were really cold which was delightful on a hot summer day. This truck definitely exceeds expectations, I highly recommend hunting it down and giving it a shot.“
“By far my favorite place in the city, the employees are amazing especially Amanda, Niko Morgan and Joe. It doesn’t get better than this place. Over & Underground bar in nyc… this is what you’re looking for. Great music, great staff 10/10 all around. A true NYC Gem.“
“This place is soooo good! Popped in on a whim and it did not disappoint. The bar and decor looks so cool. The staff was friendly. Drinks are on point. I tried a margarita. I got fish tacos and fries and it was delicious. I definitely want to come back to try more stuff.“
“Extremely fast service even if the line is long. Some of the best tacos I've ever had, my favorite was the adobada. Must visit if you're in the area.Vegetarian options: I think the cactus taco is vegetarian, but it's probably cooked on the same grill as the meats.“
