“Ive been here a couple of times and as a LA native, this place definitely makes tacos that remind me of home. There is only outdoor seating so I would keep that in mind if you plan on visiting during colder weather. But The tacos were delicious and I got way more queso and chips than I was expecting. They were sold out the last time I stopped by so that should give you a good idea of the quality of the food.“
“Atmosphere was great and I dug their music selection. Service was kinda slow but not terrible. The food was just ok, however the salsa was phenomenal. Tacos were large with lots of protein but the flavor profiles didn’t really do much. I liked the cherry sherry cocktail. I’m giving 4 because there was nothing that had me wanting to come back AND the tables were all WAY too close to each other, which is really a pet peeve. It might have been the vibe of the place or maybe just personal style, but the waiter had a ripped tee shirt that I suppose could have been fashionable but it really just looked homely and bad.“
“Delicious food. Shared the plato grande de picadera and it was plenty. Staff was very attentive- the manager caught our attention to check on us and the waitress went out of her way to made sure to get our orders correct. The drink deal was pretty incredible for their size and margarita flavors were unique. The boisterous ambiance might be a little loud for certain occasions, but overall the night was enjoyable!“
“on a chilly january night, me and my roommate decided to get some guac after a arduous workout. it was supposed to be just a quick food run. neither of us knew our experience would be one that not only altered our tastebuds but our lives. this guac, guys, let me tell you, was the best thing i’ve ever put in my mouth. salty, sweet, dare i say umami. wanted to lick that cast iron clean, but the constraints of society forced me to merely gaze longingly at the remnants of this heavenly green paste. thank you, tqto, i will be back. everyone will once i spread your message, for i am now a spiritual follower of your restaurant.“
“We came here on the recommendation of a friend and even with her glowing review, we were still blown away! Every dish was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were a steal. Our family had the truffle quesadillas, the carne asada tacos, and the langosta tacos. We shared an order of guac and the kids had the flan and churros for dessert. Great dinner; we can't wait to return!“
“Look No Further For Your Tex Mex Fix than Javelina . Frozen Margaritas , Lone Star , Yellow Queso , Fajitas and the list goes on . Everything hit the mark for us . The tortilla chips are pure perfection . Just the right thickness & not greasy . Our only suggestion would be to put some Texas sports or any kind of sports for that matter on the TV . Having Bob Ross on the set didn’t fit the atmosphere . When we asked we were told they weren’t aloud to put on sports ; Nevertheless , Service was good & there are a few tables outside too . Btw there’s another location on 18th if you are down that way . Ya’ll enjoy them both .“
“There are 3 pillars to a good Mexican restaurant - delicious drinks with a punch, perfectly crunchy chips, and a lively atmosphere. This place hits it all, every time. I've been coming here for years and this place is a staple for my family. Always delicious food, great service, and STRONG frozen margaritas. They also have a younger happy hour crowd, so great for family dinner or a pre-game to a night out. You won't regret coming here!“
“Woohoo Green Bay Packers bar with sound on! Love the relaxed and spacious vibe of this place, bartenders are attentive. No table service so order at the bar. GET THE CHEESE CURDS! Omg they are legit and pieces of heaven. Friendly crowd on game day, and there is more garden space outside (with a tv). Can't comment on the live music yet, but happy to come back and enjoy the games!“
“I’ve been a customer for over 30+ years and can only say that El Cantinero has gotten even better over time. The food is excellent and the drinks, especially the margaritas, are, in my opinion, the best in the city. Their staff is amazing, especially the team of Junior and Edgar. They are by far the most competent, efficient, professional, quick and friendly guys I have ever had the pleasure to meet. They go above and beyond to accommodate their customers requests and ensure the customers have the best experience possible. I hope management takes note and values them as the excellent employees they are. Keep up the good work guys!“
“Cozy, well-priced and well-loved! I stopped inside San Loco for a quick bite on the way to work this rainy evening. I ordered one of the smallish hand burritos and a beer, then people watched from a window seat.Thank you, San Loco - this was exactly what I was hoping for! I’ll be back.“
“Was in a bit of a hurry, and their menu looked pretty good so I ordered me a chicken burrito. Because I was in a hurry, and was ordering my food to go, I didn't take pictures of what I ordered. Service was pretty fast, the place was clean and their menu was pretty clear as to what they have. Prices are not bad for the location. My burrito tasted pretty good, and size of the burrito was plentiful. I will definitely return back and try other plates.“
“I called to make a reservation for about 12. Arriba Arriba was super friendly and accommodating to my family. They took my name and said a table would be ready for us when we got there. The staff were super attentive and helpful. Michael was our waiter and was superb and always checking up on us. Thanks for a great experience. My family visiting from Cali enjoyed their time and meal at your restaurant.“
“This is one of our favorite places to PLAY MUSIC in the city, and we love it so much... we go there on our off nights, too, just to hang out. There's always a friendly scene and the food, drink, and atmosphere are unbeatable. Top 1 place in NYC.“
“I stopped by for drinks around 7pm on a Saturday with some friends. Thankfully there was a table available and we were seated right away. Bosco's has an extensive drink menu, and happy hour if you go during certain times on weekdays. The drinks were average NY prices, and were very good. I got the Sam Said So, while my friend got a Negroni. Both were very good! The service was great, and the decor was fun.“
