“If you want fajitas that actually resemble the ones you’d get in Texas, this is the only place in NYC worth considering. Skirt steak, cooked over an open flame, and served a perfect medium-rare. Accept no impostors.
The queso is very much on par with what you’d get at a Ninfa’s. Pricing is remarkably reasonable across the board. This is quickly becoming my favorite spot in NYC.“

“This is the best Mexican food I’ve found in NYC so far. At least as far as burritos go. I get the Acapulco burrito (which has no meat). It’s still not like mexican food in the south west, but I love it and keep going back. Very fast preparation.“

“Asked for a torta with enchilada pork at 8:30 am. They quickly and efficiently accommodated a request they likely don’t get at that hour. The torta was absolutely excellent and I’ve had a hundred or more after overtime a decade in so cal and Mexico. They do it right. Will be back.“

“Covid review. Delivery and take out only so check the menu before coming or call ahead to save you time. Definitely good chicken/beef tacos for the road but the bowls are probably my go to for sure. Home made juices to go definitely a keeper anytime I order.“

“The food is good and the delivery is great. You can except your food to be delivered quickly. The only thing is that the women who takes your order over the phone doesn’t speak or understand English. My orders are always wrong. Either she forgets to pack my sodas or I’m missing things. Make her repeat your order always!!“

“I moved to the neighborhood about 2 years ago and tried a few Chinese food restaurants but this place is the best. They are clean, quick delivery, and are always very nice. I'd recommend you get food from here if you're in the mood for some Chinese. Their Tex-Mex is also good but I usually just get Chinese.“

“Our server Jason G. Was amazing, he helped my son n I with our meal selections and what great choices. the beef short rib tacos with the aujus sauce was so juicy and flavorful. And the burger my son said was delicious n packed full of flavor along with his chez fries! Our fresh quac and chips was great with my passion fruit Marg! Jason was very kind and chatted with my boy about our trip into the city and made sure to take great care of him and his time at dos carminos! Thank you Jason G for treating us like family !! our next trip to the city we will be back to visit again!!“

“Amazing experience. Amazing atmosphere. Amazing price. Went there alone since I was craving some nice and home cooked food and this place hit the spot. Food came out in maybe 5 minutes. The best part though was the server. A very accommodating and sweet lady. I will be back.“

“Refreshingly affordable option in East Village. The tacos are stuffed to the brim; you don’t feel like you’re eating so much tortilla.
The tables turn quickly which is our speed. It is tight quarters so plan for a small table setting.
Still, the decor is unique, the salsas are spicy and tasty (don’t be afraid of the peanut), and this is an easy yes for a date or friendly get together.“
