I found this adorable café that has such a relaxed vibe! I tried the Iced Einspanner, and while the cream on top was delightful, I wished the coffee itself had a bit more kick. But honestly, it was still really enjoyable, especially when paired with a warm croissant. I ordered the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte. The banana pudding cold foam was delicious and that's where most of the sweetness came from. I added simple syrup to my drink cause it comes unsweetened, which isn't a problem at all. I knew full well ordering prior. I think the banana pudding part could be blended more throughly cause there was still some texture of banana in there. Smaller than chunks, but like slime(?) maybe if they emulsified the ingredient more into the plant-based milk. It would be smoother. I liked the drink, just felt like it dimmed the overall experience of it.

Very nice little cozy coffee shop that happens to sell pastries as well. Barista was very sweet. They had a lot of drinks on their menu that I was curious to try even though I'm typically just a cappuccino drinker. But this time I tried the brown sugar oatmilk freddo. Definitely a 10/10 in my books. Honestly, pretty well priced if you compare to the rest of the coffee shops in NYC. Definitely going to be back to try some of the other drinks.

Their oxidized matcha color says it all. There's no vibrant green, no natural umami, and no extra notes of flavor. While they offer many fun variations with pudding and fruity tastes that might look great on Instagram, I wouldn't recommend them if you're a true matcha lover.

Not only is this a warm and cozy place to have a quick stop for a drink, but the service is also very friendly and welcoming! I was able to enjoy a nice drink with my three other friends as we cooled off from the summer heat.
