It's been a good while since I've purchased food from this place so I decided to hit them up today.. I should've kept my money in my pocket because this food was not good. Maybe they should stick to fish and chips until they can figure this "soul food" thing out because whomever is doing the cooking does not know what they're doing.. The cat fish was just ok, the Mac and cheese was so so, the collards were horrible and the yams were absolutely disgusting... A total waste of $30 and I'm rather pissed... If you're going to overcharge people for cheap whiting at the very least you can get decent sized pieces and cook it right...I'm hoping they're just having a bad day because ain't no way.. There are far too many cooking shows on TV and the internet to be in HARLEM selling and overcharging people for $30 plates of mediocrity.Id ratherhad burned a quarter tank of gas sat in traffic, , paid congestion pricing or a toll to get food elsewhere. NOT RECOMMENDED, cook your own food.

Not at all what it used to be,The shrimps were larger, shrimp not seasoned at all, just simply fried! Never returning, there's nothing to write home about!

I really wanted to like this place but it's honestly very basic and expensive for very minimal food. The flounder was thin and small. The mac and cheese was decent. The Collard greens were very bad and mushy they seemed spoiled and I had to go back inside because they forgot to give me the potato salad I ordered so check ur bags before you leave.. and good luck

when I say the wings was bigger than my hand smh and the fish was so tinny , then the collard greens was so sweet me and my husband was very disappointed. The workers moving slow taking they time it just wasn’t it for me

Just spent $40 collard greens smashed chicken wings dry must be leftovers yams too much sugar horrible experience
Disrespectfully bad eats! They should really stick to frying food only. If I didn’t know better I would think they caught these from the Harlem River. And where’s the seasoning?! It’s a Hell Nah for me.

One of favorite places for seafood!!! You have to try the fried lobster tails I’m addicted 😋
The food has changed from when I first started going there about 15 years ago to now quality and amount of food that ,alot of people still go there out of loyalty to the brand

The food was very well cooked. Perfectly balanced seasoning. 4piece catfish 4piece shrimp dinner 3sides. Veryyyy good , I’ll be stopping by more often. The Mac , candied yams & collard greens were spot on 🥂
