I passed by and saw they have a buffet on the weekends for ~$20. I came back the next day to try it. I enjoyed my experience. My top dishes were the chili fish, the tikka masala sauce, and the rice pudding dessert. I was the first person to sit in the dining room and I was happy to see that the place steadily filled up. I saw that the waitress had good rapport with the regulars. I’ll definitely be back another weekend.

This is supposedly a vegan restaurant, but they gave me chicken in non-vegan sauce (instead of vegan chickpeas). I know it's a ghost kitchen, but this is totally unacceptable. Luckily I don't have any health issues around this food, but someone could actually get sick from this! It really shows me that the vegan food is not kept separate, and I would never order from here again.

The Indian food here at Amber is super flavorful! So tasty and satisfying! The Vegetable Biryani was spicy!! My favorite was the Tofu Tikka Masala with Garlic Roti!! The Tikka Masala was savory and sweet at the same time. I'll be back again. Like others have mentioned, there is a separate Vegan menu.

The tofu tikka masala here is one of my favorite dishes of all time. It’s so flavorful and consistently well made, portions are great. I order here all the time!

Not actually vegan. Just the vegan part of the menu at a place that serves animal flesh. Buyer beware. And the male staff can be quite rude on the phone.

Wow Experience. Friendly Staff.

Just a sub-section of the menu within another Indian restaurant serving non-vegan dishes. Not clear if they have a separate kitchen

I saw the reviews about people having trouble finding the menu but it popped up for me on Seamless with no issues just by searching vegan and my neighborhood. I thought the food was well seasoned and tasty. Delivered on time and good portion sizes.

I thought the food was pretty good until it gave me food poisoning. I threw up everything that I ate more times than I can count, have a fever, and body aches. Ive grown up on Indian food so I know it’s not because it’s Indian food. Not sure how they actually prepare their dishes, but it tasted like it just sits there until they heat it up. I’m so sick I had to miss work and cannot leave my bed. Disgusting experience.

Try speaking calmly when they pick up the phone and let people respond.

Aamber is an all vegan menu INSIDE a mainstream Indian restaurant called Manhattan Valley. There's no sign outside saying Aamber, but it's worth the search to find this place. You can eat in or takeout. Try the Chole (chickpeas), Chana Alu (chickpeas & potatoes), Tofu Tikka Masala, and more. Almost everything on the menu is either already gluten free or has a gluten free option. Reasonable prices for the neighborhood. Staff are friendly, polite, and knowledgeable about veganism.

They gave me raita made of dairy yogurt. I was also not sure whether the tofu was indeed tofu or paneer.I couldn't eat the other dishes I had ordered as now I wasn't sure if the food was vegan or not.BTW, this is not a vegan restaurant. They have created an online vegan profile for an existing non-vegan restaurant. They just have some vegan options but the kitchen is the same and it doesn't seem like their staff are trained well enough about what vegan cuisine is.
