I ordered the mix over rice š from Adeleās food cart through Grubhub š±. The food itself was okay š, nothing special but decent. However, the customer service was terrible š”. My order showed as āready for pickupā ā° after 30 minutes, but when I arrived š¶āāļø, I still had to wait another 20 minutes ā³ just to get my food. That long delay was frustrating š¤ and really put a damper on the experience š.

The taste has deteriorated, quality is going down - i remember they used to have amazing fresh rice Now they are just adding white sauce immensely but the rice has no taste - this what happens when things get popular and they now care about money - sorry to say - not worth it - dont stand and wait in queue for hours - you ll regret it

Long line, but good food. Great portions and amazing price. I got a bowl with gyro meat and it had excellent rice / sauces. Some seating nearby. Come hungry or leave with leftovers. But just come. I had no idea this spot was so well known but we just happened upon it and both locals and tourists come here. So you know itās good.
Went on a weeknight in the raināthe queue was only 20 minutes. Head and shoulders above every other halal cart meal Iāve had. Very satisfying.

There is nothing different or special compared to the regular Halal cart on the next block. This is my FIRST and LAST time getting Halal from here. Save your time and go somewhere else.

I visited New York and had this as a bucket list item and it did not disappoint. Went on a Wednesday night and the line at the cart was bumpinā as usual and took about an hour. If you donāt wanna stand in line, you can order through Seamless but we wanted to save a couple $ so we stood in line (for the experience)
Anything you get will be good and stock on all their pre-portioned sauces when you get to the front of the line ā flavour is great.
