Didn’t expect street truck food to be this good, but Adel’s was a pleasant surprise! The chicken over rice is flavorful and a bit on the spicy side, perfectly balanced by their mayo sauce.
Long line, but good food. Great portions and amazing price. I got a bowl with gyro meat and it had excellent rice / sauces. Some seating nearby. Come hungry or leave with leftovers. But just come. I had no idea this spot was so well known but we just happened upon it and both locals and tourists come here. So you know it’s good.
I visited New York and had this as a bucket list item and it did not disappoint. Went on a Wednesday night and the line at the cart was bumpin’ as usual and took about an hour. If you don’t wanna stand in line, you can order through Seamless but we wanted to save a couple $ so we stood in line (for the experience)
Anything you get will be good and stock on all their pre-portioned sauces when you get to the front of the line — flavour is great.
