Nice Mediterranean spot, might want a reservation as it is a bit small. Excellent dessert selections and pastries. We enjoyed the calamari, hummus, and the mixed grill and decided the lamb chops were the best part. All of it was delicious but I would order just lamb chops next time, the mixed grill is a nice way to try several meats. The hummus and pita were very good as was the calamari and the sauce it was served with was very nice as well.

My sister and I had a fantastic dinner 11/4 for her birthday and our experience was one the very best that we've ever had dining in NYC. From the very first moment we entered the restaurant, our waitress was so very warm, engaging, responsive, thoughtful and professional. She immediately picked up on my desire to celebrate my sister's birthday without her even realizing it and that required acute intuition, kindness, and sensitivity. The entire team made our celebration such a memorable one with delicious food (delectable calamari/eggplant appetizers; lamb adana and Sultan's delight entrees), outstanding service and timely dining as we had a Broadway show to catch. Our Turkish friends in California were so envious that we were dining there as it's one of their favorite spots and I can't wait to return to try more of the expansive menu offerings. Thank you so very much, Team Akdeniz, for making my sister's birthday such a memorable one!

Wow — what a hidden gem! The food here is next-level delicious. The chicken shish was juicy and flavorful, and the lentil soup was comfort in a bowl. The service was quick and super friendly, and the vibe was cozy. If you love Mediterranean food, this place should be at the top of your list!

An exceptional dining experience. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of rich, traditional Turkish flavor. The lamb was tender and seasoned perfectly, and the meze platter was a great way to sample a bit of everything. Absolutely loved this place! The food was bursting with authentic Turkish flavors — from the perfectly grilled kebabs to the soft, fluffy pita bread. The staff was welcoming and made us feel right at home. You can tell everything is made fresh with care. I’ll definitely be coming back for the baklava — it’s the best I’ve had in New York City!!!!!!

There isn't enough postive words to describe how amazing the food and atmosphere is here. I am constanly greeted with respect whenever I walk in. Food is made very quickly. The best part is that the food is FRESH. The servers here are amazing as well especailly Jose and Emillio.

We discovered Akdeniz Mediterranean Cuisine recently and ended up coming back 3 times within one week. The food is truly delicious and the menu has plenty of great options. Everything we tried was fresh and well-prepared. Their desserts are also amazing, we even bought a whole tray of baklava on our last visit to share with friends and it was worth it! The staff is kind and the atmosphere is welcoming. Highly recommended!
