Akura has been my favorite sushi spot for a while now. I order from here 2/3 times a week. The sushi is so fresh and delicious. The staff is so great and helpful when ordering. Highly recommend!

Our FAVORITE sushi spot! The staff never fails to be extremely kind and attentive every time we dine in. Not to mention, you can’t beat the food quality for the price anywhere else in the city. When we have visitors we make sure to bring them to Akura and they also love it just as much as we do. If you haven’t had Akura Sushi you’re missing out!

I order catering from this little hole in the wall sushi place all the time, they never fail. They've upgraded their nigiri sushi options to include different toppings more like omakase-style, they do a fantastic job. The flavor is great, the price is very reasonable and packaged in a beautiful wooden party tray, the presentation is outstanding. Always impressing my guests with their food and will continue to order catering from them. I hope my 5 star review will help boost their reviews because they have been consistent and reliable.

My go to sushi and Japanese quick bite place. Its lunch special is from 11am to 3pm. They have bento boxes, sushi roll combos and entrees for roughly $15. The service is quick and the food is fully cooked. If you find yourself on a waitlist for a nearby restaurant- drop by this small business and enjoy. I had the salmon teriyaki lunch special.

Found multiple pieces of staples in my sushi roll.
I like to support small businesses, and this was a good lunch spot on workdays, but unfortunately will not be returning after this experience. I tried calling the restaurant to inform them of the issue but the person I spoke to was of no help. (I didn't want a refund--just wanted to prevent this from happening to the next person, but they just told me to contact the delivery service i placed the order through)
