About Alidoro

Alidoro offers some of the best sandwiches in the lower midtown area. The pesto mayo and hot soppressata are highlights, with a great selection of meats, cheeses, and spreads. The Giovanni tasted amazing, though the bread wasn't toasted. The focaccia was dry but the spicy sauce helped. The il sole and Italian cheesesteak have a special place, with Il sole having a spicy kick perfect with focaccia bread, and Italian cheesesteak with truffle being divine. Alidoro also has a boooomb veggie sandwich, the "Mona Lisa," with fresh mozzarella and bel paese cheese. Their meat-filled sandwiches are what the hype is all about, but they have the vegetarian option on lock too. The sandwiches are delicious and filling. The vibe is loud, busy, with a heavenly smell of meats and bread. The Bryant Park location has seating but can be crowded and loud, which might make it hard to enjoy the sandwich. Staff are friendly, though some can be less welcoming, especially if you seem lost. The restaurant serves honest recipes, and the workers create an exceptional dining experience. Many find the bread super tasty and appreciate good recommendations for bread pairing. Overall, Alidoro is a great spot for a quick, satisfying, and flavorful lunch that outperforms similar places.

Got the Gothamist on semolina bread 🍞,
a pickle, and a bag of chips with rosemary and olive oil flavor. Oh, a canned Illy latte too. It was $38.34 with tax. The pickle was a small sliver and cost 75 cents. It did have some surprising heat to it. The sandwhich had a mild flavor and was fresh. The bread had a good texture. The pesto, 🍋lemon, and sundried tomatoe flavors were milder than expected. The rosemary of the chips was not very noticable. I am glad I got it in advance...read full review

I had the Alyssa sandwich today at a location near where I was having a medical test. the sandwich was very tasty and the cashier was very pleasant and patient.

The espresso drinks are great so today I decided to try a salad. Unfortunately, most of my lunch break was spent trying to salvage the salad by picking out the rotten, slimy, black gunk in the salad mix
