Allora was a perfect choice for a business lunch at a location very close to our office. Ben was amazing at describing the specials and making sure everything was to our liking. We were originally supposed to sit on rooftop - but it was too hot that day and Ben was able to seat us inside in the comfortable air conditioned dining room. The food was enjoyed by all and we will definitely plan to return in the future, as well as recommend Allora to our colleagues.
Food is great. The octopus special was amazing. Very classy restaurant. The service was superior and I strongly recommend this spot. I have stayed at the hotel attached and would visit daily to get food or enjoy a drink. Camila is amazing and so friendly while handling business at the bar. With all of the great options for food in Midtown Manhattan, I still find myself eating here regularly for the food and the staff.
Food was fine but not special in any material way. Had the short rib ravioli special. Sauce was thick and some kind of beef jus turned into a thicker nearly glaze with a hint of raisin. The sauce was the highlight of an otherwise fairly bland ravioli. The caprese appetizer - I forgot how thick a beefsteak tomato could be and too firm for this form of light appetizer.
