Went here with my boyfriend for the first time, we both loved it. Austin was our server, he was amazing! Best spot to start our night with wine & oysters!

Pricey, but the food is genuinely so good and the staff is attentive and super friendly.

Everything was great, especially that yuzu shrimp!! Oysters were amazing, but on the smaller side.

Huge thank you to the team, Carly, and Max at Ama Raw Bar for making our Bachelor/Bachelorette party so special! Even though the rain kept us from using the patio, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us inside—and it was still magical. They even helped us decorate the space, which made everything feel so thoughtful and personal. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was warm, attentive, and seamless. We felt so cared for and had such a fun, memorable night. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Experience at Ama Raw Bar!

My beautiful wife and I had an incredible experience at Ama Raw Bar in the East Village. The food was fresh and delicious—especially the oysters—and the vibe was perfect for a relaxing night out.

What truly made the night special was the outstanding service. Our server Austin was incredible—attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel at home. Carly was also amazing and added such a great energy to the experience.

We left already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

We visited AMA Raw Bar and were initially offered seats by the bartender. However, when we tried to sit there, the host told us we couldn’t. Moments later, we saw another white couple being allowed to sit in the same spot. The inconsistency in treatment was disappointing and concerning.

I found Ama Raw Bar from a Reddit post and I could not be more pleased with my experience. I hosted a birthday party for 20 of my friends on the patio and everything was perfect. Carly and the rest of the staff made sure we always had drinks, food and a good vibe going. Everyone is so friendly and went above and beyond to make my birthday special. I will recommend Ama to all of my friends and can’t wait to go back

Oysters were fresh and delicious, had the mezcal Palawan shared a bao bun. They just started all night oyster happy hour on Mondays and Wednesdays plus $25 wine bottles. Overall a lovely place with an insane happy hour — I’ll definitely be back!

I couldn't be happier with my experience here. Hosted a birthday get-together with about 30 friends on a Saturday night in the Kiki Room — Carly worked with me to get everything situated and was super helpful when we were having technical issues getting our music connected to the room's speaker. The ambiance was excellent and we had plenty of space to mingle.

The cocktails are delicious (the Blushing Ama and the pandan cocktail were my favorites) and I ordered some platters which everyone loved. High marks for the crispy rice tuna and the edamame hummus.

Service (Timmi helped us out) was friendly and attentive throughout the entire night. I'd host an event here again without a second thought and I'm looking forward to trying it out again soon for dinner!

Great spot, great staff, solid food and drink. Come by off hours to really enjoy the place - has a great semi private room that still has good vibes instead of feeling like a tomb.

ama raw bar has some great options for their happy hour. the oysters - both varieties - were affordable and tasted really good. i also appreciated the variety of sauces that they provided. the bao and taco were yummy too!

the lychee martini and mezcal palawan (with jalapeño) were both very good. the martini was super strong.

Both myself and my dining partner got food poisoning. I've been sick all day and had to take the day off work.
