Very friendly staff. Great LES atmosphere
Great food , service and my favorite: happy hour..!
I came here with a party of 7 after a show and this place was incredible! We all loved everything we got; the vodka pasta was a standout, the calamari was great, the patatas bravas were out of this world. I can’t wait to go back and try more things.
Not to mention Jose was the most wonderful and attentive server. I mean the service was some of the best I’ve received. He was warm, accommodating, happy to take care of us. He was wonderful. We felt like we were...read full review

**Jose Luis Mediterranean Cuisine** is a superb under the radar restaurant in the ABC. Paella and tapas is their main game, with two non-seafood paellas on the menu. Some of the tapas plates are pricey, but the portions are better than average. The Mediterranean Plate ($20) stood out for variety and portion. Their Happy Hour is insanely good, with half off of apps and special drink prices. The service is incredible, fabulous, and the owner is a charismatic, attentive, and caring gem in the neighborhood. The food and atmosphere is wonderful. Highly recommend the patatas bravas. The owner offered complimentary wines, shots, and limoncello shots on the house. It is a nice hole in the wall and a great low key place in the East Village. A bottle of Montepulciano is $48.
