Amali NYC Reviews
Comfortable. Clean. Friendly staff. Good service.
“Gluten free“ started our search. Perfect gastronomic satisfaction every step of the evening! Despina recommended a fabulous white wine, Assyrtiko, she said comes from my ancestors’ Thessaloniki. Octopus, first, with whipped feta. Perfectly grilled Bronzino. Potatoes crispy and perfect. An ouzo topped it off. Thank you, Amali! ❤️🔥

Amali NYC is a small restaurant with an intimate vibe, offering amazing food and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The Canary Island Branzino, Roasted broccoli, and Fingerling Potatoes are delicious, while the Charcuterie, Oysters, Salmon Tartare, Red Snapper, and Filet Mignon are flavorful and fresh. The service is impeccable—attentive without being intrusive—making it a perfect spot for special occasions or a nice dinner. However, some noise issues were noted due to reflective surfaces that affect conversations, especially when the space isn't fully booked. The restaurant is known for its attention to detail and high-quality ingredients. The steak and eggs was fantastic, with the steak cooked perfectly and the fingerling potatoes outstanding. The rib-eye with bone marrow is a must-try. Guests have enjoyed dishes like tamarind chicken and pasta from the prix fixe lunch menu, with dessert options like chocolate mousse receiving high praise. Overall, Amali NYC offers a memorable dining experience with fresh, delicious food and excellent service.
