Cozy and charming restaurant right off Madison! The food is always very consistent and delicious and the service is impeccable. Christian was a fantastic and attentive waiter! Can’t wait to keep going back for many years to come.

This place is pretty obviously racist. We were in the area for the Puerto Rican Day parade and decided to stop for dinner afterwards. We requested a table for two and despite the restaurant clearly having at least 3 other patrons, we were told that the restaurant was closed. When I attempted to clarify, because it clearly wasn’t closed, I was told that they only had a “certain amount of tables” meanwhile there were a MULTITUDE of empty tables (at least 20) open. I smiled at the host, knowing exactly that it wasn’t a matter of a “certain amount” of tables, it was clear that they only wanted to serve a “certain kind” of clientele. I would be embarrassed if this was my restaurant, how utterly disgusting and disgraceful to treat people this way. We ended up having drinks and apps at Altesi, which was delicious.

Great service, food and ambiance. My only complaint is there are so many great appetizers it's hard to choose. The grilled salmon with asparagus is my go to main - it's unbeatable. That being said there are a number of other amazing main courses.

Dining at Amaranth was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for the evening. The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely welcoming.

Now, let’s talk about the food and drinks, which were nothing short of exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor, showcasing high-quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation. From the appetizers to the desserts, each bite was a standout. The cocktails and wine selection were equally impressive—creative, perfectly balanced, and crafted with care.

Amaranth manages to strike that rare balance of elegance and comfort, making it an ideal spot for both special occasions and a memorable night out. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates great food, great drinks, and world-class service.

Amaranth is one of those rare restaurants where everything just clicks. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is outstanding—genuinely attentive without ever feeling forced. A special shoutout to Christian, who goes above and beyond to make every visit feel memorable. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail truly elevate the experience.

The food is consistently excellent. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic pasta, a fresh salad, or a more indulgent main, every dish is beautifully prepared and full of flavor. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Amaranth gets the fundamentals right—great food, exceptional service, and a welcoming vibe that makes you want to come back. It’s a place that feels both special and comfortable.

It’s really hidden gem! In very touristic area this authentic Italian restaurant made our evening. Food was great! (Cold salmon, artichoke salad and Napoleon was phenomenal!), very friendly and quiet atmosphere. Thank you, definitely will be back next time!

Bad service and bad food, I had the chicken salad which tasted like the chicken was out for 2-3 days, cold and old and I had them take it back. No apologies just gaslighting me saying it’s supposed to be like that. They still charged it. Cutlery was dirty too, plates are broken and visibly damaged. Not coming back.

Never coming back here again. Overpriced and extremely mediocre food and terrible service. I got a $35 burger that came in a brioche bun that was clearly store-bought, and with a single piece of bitter and old lettuce. It looked and tasted like a $5 burger you can get from a corner deli. It also took the waiter 10+ minutes to get my order despite the restaurant being half-empty at 6pm. The tables were lined with reams of PAPER with the restaurant’s logo printed cheaply on them. It was horrific. I expected MUCH more from a place that charges $40 for a salad.

Dinner time during the 2025 Super bowl

I ordered French onion soup for the starter and Branzino - Whole Mediterranean branzino for entree. The fish was fresh, tender and juicy. Luv it!

The dessert was pretty good and the service was excellent
