Welcoming environment, staff is accommodating, delicious food, nice neighborhood and good for pre-theatre meal. Would recommend it.
A very nice place, with real Italian pasta (well cooked) and much more. Cozy atmosphere, central location, and competitive prices.
Fantastic homemade lasagne with meat sauce. Melted in my mouth! Very attentive service in a cozy atmosphere.
The food, service, and atmosphere are to be commended. Valerie was very kind and gave us great, accurate recommendations. Everyone was really nice and we had a great time. Not only was the service excellent, but our food and portions were outstanding, as well. Three of us got us the linguini bolognaise and one got the chicken parm...big portions and quality food. We started with salads. I had the asparagus/goat cheese and, let me tell you, it was delicious!!! Next time I will not share it! Valerie recommended two desserts which she said were made in-house: one was the tiramisu. I do not typically order tiramisu, but I'm glad I did!! Amazing!! I was scraping the last of it off my plate. If I home alone, I would have literally licked my plate!! Thank you, Amarone, for a wonderful evening.
The food tasted like homemade. Perfect portion sizes. We had the lasagna, pasta cacio e pepe and four cheese raviolis. Excellent choices.
Nice neighborhood restaurant. Food was quality and well priced, service attentive but not annoying. Will go again
Staff were very friendly, service was quick, food was very good, and prices were reasonable. Definitely a good place for a pre-show dinner.
Great atmosphere for one on one conversation. The service was amazing and the staff are very professional.
We ate here for lunch on a slow day and had the entire restaurant to ourselves. The restaurant had very cute decor, with flowers & wine bottles, and videos of Italy were shown on the TV screen. Service was prompt and personable. We ate the Arancini and Pear Salad appetizers, both excellent. The Rigatoni was also very tasty, but the standout dish was the Chicken Azalea! The house Chianti was good and inexpensive. Location was in Hell's Kitchen and very close to most shows.
I am very selective with restaurants as I am a chef also in my home. This place was delicious! The service was great and before the theatre it was a great location.

A real disappointment compared to our experiences from years ago, which were exceptional. Tonight, food was mediocre, way too salty, many items on the menu were not available. Service was good. Not going back.
Some of the worst Italian food I've ever had -- branzino was probably the worst fish I've had anywhere, mostly salt with some fish, really bad.
A number of much better Italian restaurants nearby including Nizza and Mamma Mia 44SW, or even Becco on the 46th street strip. Skip Amarone and go elsewhere, or 5 Napkin Burger if you just want a decent burger.
Amarone is now trash, unfortunately.

Food was totally adequate. Service was fine. Nothing special. Not a rip off, but not something that is going to get any blow out food reviews. Given its proximity to Time Sq, not a terrible option, but try harder if you are looking to for something special.
We have been to this place several times. In the past, it was very good. It was fair. The food was nothing outstanding. IMO, there are many better places. We will not go back.
The minute we walked in the atmosphere was incredible. It was very low key, exactly what we were looking for around the hotel near Times Square! The staff was courteous and polite. The food was absolutely amazing! My girlfriend and I will most certainly be going back every time we go to New York!

Food was subpar, overpriced and took a long time to come out. Friendly energetic staff. Fun live Cuban music but hard to have a conversation.
