Just had an amazing dinner at Ambra in the West Village! The outdoor seating is perfect for a cozy, vibrant NYC evening – you get that charming neighborhood vibe while dining under the city lights, enjoying a great cocktail. And the pasta? Absolutely delicious, with fresh, bold flavors that totally hit the spot. Highly recommend for a relaxed night out with great food and vibes!

The food and drinks were fantastic! We overall enjoyed our meal but it was insanely loud. The music was so loud that our watch gave us a notification about removing ourselves to prevent ear damage. It was suitable for a night club but not for a meal. We asked multiple times if it could be turned down. It would be lowered for a minute and then turned back up even louder than before. The table by us also asked if it could be lowered and they were not successful either. I don’t think we will return even though we enjoyed everything else about the experience.

Honestly…. Very sad to say that I was underwhelmed with the food here. Such beautiful ambiance and great, quick service. Probably the best I had so far in a while. The food is what really disappointed me… I had the burrata with orange slices and squash. The orange was an amazing delicious touch. But the squash… kinda threw me off. Maybe a touch of finishing salt or something to make the squash more… flavorful? I had the Golden cocktail and that was really good. 8/10. Then I had the potato gnocchi. Unfortunately, I had to return the dish. It came out cold. BUT, on a good note, the truffle croquettes were SPECTACULAR, give me 14 of them right now. This was the highlight of the evening. Amazing, crispy outside, soft inside, the truffle was SPOT ON, not overpowering, 10/10. Very happy.
I’ll probably give it another try some other time!

Seriously!!! This place is simply a vibe!!!! Hidden gem. Food delicious. Vibe so good. Music was some of best i have heard in awhile. Decor elegant but cozy. Service was just right. Antonio took care of us - on point food and wine and cocktail pairings. Authentic spot cant wait to come back!!!

Ambra was fabulous! So lively and fun! Highly recommend the fried artichokes, the beet salad, and the margarita pizza. The ragu… TO DIE FOR!!! Franco was our waiter and was on top of it. He was a great communicator, quick, and accurate! He’s a true professional.
