We had an early dinner at this restaurant recently. The food was decently good. However, the service is terrible.

When the waiter brought us our main course, he didn't bother to check if we have any utensils (we ordered steak and short ribs which I do believe we need forks). We waited for a couple of minutes and looked around patiently to see if any waiters or waitresses will notice us. But no. They are either talking to themselves or looking very engagingly to their phones or tablets.

So I raised my hand, which was still not able to draw any attention to us. Finally I had to say EXCUSE ME. Then the female service staff looked up from her iPad and gave me a VERY NASTY look, she seemed to be very annoyed that her looking at her iPad was disturbed by me. This is very unprofessional and unacceptable. Her job as a service staff in a restaurant is NOT to look at her phone during work time, ignoring the clients, and giving nasty look when the client had to be uncomfortably trying to get any basic service.

I with the restaurant manager educate/train their staff well and at least let them know they should pay attention to their clients' need (that's what they are paid for, right?), and not to show attitude when they need to be reminded to do their job.

Gorgeous interior, bar staff were friendly and competent, espresso martini was on point. Only detractor was the lack of seating, happy hour is standing room only and fills up with loud gross finance bros.

There are many cocktail options and most of them I tried were good.

Decent cocktails but not outstanding, especially for Manhattan. Bartender’s personality was breathtakingly bad. He seemed put out by having to mix drinks. Much better cocktail experiences in the city.

3rd time visiting. Staff tend to be more pleasant with each other than patrons. Overpriced. Today we went and the bartender was abrupt and unfriendly. Beautiful atmosphere but service is not great. Drinks were ok but @theivorypeacock were way better and the bartender @dryshaked was amazing. Skip Valerie and take a ride downtown to the Ivory Peacock. So much better.

They asked me to leave my table 2 minutes after I asked for my check. Felt so disrespected. The place wasn't even that busy. I was planning on leaving, clearly since I asked for the check. To be honest, wait staff and food was for was great, guess it's just the management that's horrible to customers. Ruined my experience.

I do not recommend going here. Came w/ a couple friends a few nights ago and they were SO RUDE to us! i thought it was just a bad day for the server turns out it was the manager who had been extremely mean. also so overpriced, for that cost I would say go elsewhere to feel comfortable !

I would give this place a zero if I could. I am extremely upset, this place gave me an allergic reaction!!!! I have a diary allergy and told them 4 times that I do and told them to double check with the kitchen. Preceding the meal I had a swollen face and throat. I have been calling for now three days and I keep getting told that the manager would calll me back and I received no call. When I finally called and got ahold of the manager the manager had absolutely no empathy for me almost having to go to the hospital because of their mistake. There was clearly white specks on the fries when I received them so I asked the waiter to go check with the chef after having one bite and not feeling right about it. They said there was no cheese so I decided to eat two more bites and then stopped because I really had a feeling there was cheese in the fries. I have been calling to solve this issue and they proceeded to tell me that there’s a risk of cross contamination due to an open kitchen. If they would have told me that I would have not ordered and saved myself the suffering of an allergic reaction. I told them I had an allergy FOUR times. Ps. They definitely gave me cheese because my entire face swelled up and I don’t get reactions like that just from cross contamination. Anyway, if you have any allergy to anything in this restaurant do not eat here. They should really be more aware and the salad wasn’t even that good.

Our server was delightful and attentive. The food was just ok but very expensive for what it was. The live entertainment was WAY too loud and it was difficult to talk to the others in our party.

Truffle fries had a good taste but were soggy and drenched in oil. The flatbread was tasty but got cardboard-ish very quickly. The short rib with mash and carrots was actually very good. Service was on point and friendly. Menu was limited compared to the options shown on yelp pics.
