Incredible spot with a fantastic menu and plenty to choose from. Their seafood is fresh and delicious, and the entrees are cooked to perfection. This is an awesome spot for a semi-casual dinner ahead of a night out.

This American Bar in the West Village felt like a perfect mix of classic and cozy. I went with friends and we shared the iconic burger and Peanut Chicken Salad, both were outstanding. The burger was juicy with that rich beef texture, and the salad was light yet flavorful. Service was attentive without being rushed, and the atmosphere made it great for a relaxed catch-up dinner. We ended with the ice cream sandwich, which was the highlight. Definitely returning for date night.

I had a really enjoyable time at the American Bar in New York. The atmosphere felt classic but not stuffy, with a nice balance of energy and comfort. The drinks were well-made and thoughtfully presented, and the staff made the whole experience feel welcoming without being overbearing. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but it felt worth it for a relaxed night out. I’d go back again when I’m in the mood for something a little more polished.
