Lovely bakery with delicious pastries and coffee. The sticky buns and sourdough sticks are my favorite. They even have some little tables in the back and had room to eat in on a weekend morning!
This place had the friendliest service. The older gentleman behind the counter was so nice, answered all my questions, and even let us wash our hands behind the bar. The pistachio croissant was amazing, the bagel was great, and the cinnamon challah bread was delicious. The muffin was solid, and the banana cake was like a super moist banana bread. We bought some sourdough to go, and he even threw in a couple of baguettes for us! It's a really cute little bakery with plenty of seating in the back. Oh, and the sticky bun was heavenly.
Exceptional bread!
I ordered 4 breads via the Mercato online ordering site. The delivery came on the day scheduled, but Mercato refused to give me a refund. The bread was AWFUL....I had such high hopes for this bread. the 2 sourdough boule size breads had a stink to them. The italian bread had same stink to it. The 4th item, a mini baguette, was not even included in my order but I was still charged for it.
I'm not sure if it was because this was a delivery and they send out leftover old bread to their customers. I hate writing bad reviews, but this is an honest one.
Hopefully if there are fresh breads, those are the ones they include in the delivery, not the stinky smell and old ones I received.
I had to throw away all 3 breads, because there was a musky smell, and it looks hard and stale, NOT fresh at all. Since this was an absolute waste of money, I won't be going to this bread company again.
Very disappointed both in Amy's bread and Mercato service, BOTH 0 stars. Awful. Waste of money.
I’ve literally been going to Amy’s since I was 5 years old with my parents. As an adult, it’s so nice to have such a staple bakery in the neighborhood that has such delicious baked goods. Almond brioche toasts, baguettes, cheese biscuits, and cherry cream scones are my faves. Definitely an icon in HK.

I first came here in 2022 on a trip and I dreamed of the cranberry orange muffin I ate everyday after since. This time around, happy to be back, I tried an apple crumble muffin and it was divine. My friend had a pistachio twist which was rated a 10/10. This place does not disappoint and is worth the try/hype.

A wonderful local neighborhood bakery! I love that they hosted my son's pre-k class to come in to learn about the different breads and pastries and helped them pick out a selection to take back to school with them for their bread unit.
I love the inviting blue color out front. It's a very tight space when you enter, which opens up to small cafe seating in the back.
The service can be hit-or-miss depending on what day you go in there, but honestly, if I was working daily in a bakery from before sunrise I don't know if I'd always be so chipper either lol
I love their variety - there is definitely something for everyone from sweet to savory to simple.
You can find a lot of their options online at their website, or if you happen to be walking by, I highly suggest stopping in to look for yourself!

First timer from SC. Picking up something for a neighbor as a "thank you" - and grabbing some breakfast. The pistachio twists were out of this world. Can't speak for the items I'm taking back (assuming they don't get eaten on the plane). ;-) I won't look any further if I'm in the area again for breads and pastries.

Coffee is good but unfortunately we never got our sandwiches and had to ask for a refund since they forgot to make them and later realized they were out of ingredients. Sad experience. I had been recommended this place but I’m not coming back.

I visited Amy’s Bread around 9:00 am and loved how peaceful it was with no crowd at that time. I ordered a coffee and their pistachio croissant braid, and both were absolutely delicious! The bakery had a cozy and quiet atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to start the day.

Got the scone and a slice of quiche, it was good but they put the quiche in a panini press and it got totally destroyed. Never seen that before and I brought it back to the front and asked if I could have a new one but the worker made me seem super weird for asking lol. Totally wasn’t expecting the deadpan “that’s how we heat it up” especially considering I get it all the time and had never seen someone toss it in a panini press. Idk it was good but the experience was weird.

The pink cake has changed in quality. It’s over baked and very dense. I was very disappointed for the first time in 28 years. Please revisit who is baking.

Amy’s Bread was a must try since I’m a huge fan of anything sourdough. Overall, it wasn’t my best costumer serving experience or waiting time for ordering and paying but the product was very tasty and earned a 3 star. The cinnamon raisin bagel was decent and tastes great with cream cheese.
