The bread which I have been enjoying for many years was sliced and when i got it home completely disintegrated..found myself in the same neighborhood a few days later and ordered a new loaf— unsliced with a slice of German Chocolate Cake which was old— stale and horrible.. this place has gone down hill — nothing seemed fresh or properly taken care of..so disappointed.☹️

Shopped by on trip to NYC in Nov. Staff were so nice and the assortment of breads and goodies awesome. Tried a croissant and it was flaky and delicious. Can’t wait to visit again!

It is wonderful to have this bakery in the neighborhood. There are so very few bakeries that have bread, cakes, donuts, etc.. Prices are reasonable and the counter people knowledgeable about the products and have made good recommendations on a number of occasions when I had questions

Wonderful pastry, bread and coffee shop. Delicious breakfast sandwiches. The staff is friendly and helpful. Nice seating area in the back or takeout also.

Tried the pistachio croissant twist at Amy’s Bread—flaky, buttery, and perfectly layered with a rich pistachio flavor. Sweet but balanced, with a delightful crunch and soft center. Pairs perfectly with coffee and captures that classic artisanal bakery charm.

Friendly people but I was looking forward to going there on my trip to Manhattan because I went there last time and it was great food. This time I bought the sourdough chocolate twists ( which I got last time) this time they where very hard and almost stale tasting. I was disappointed this time

We got the bread and cake. All varieties we got were amazing. It's not fancy inside but it's more than a serviceable to enjoy your goods. I highly recommend.

Lovely bakery with delicious pastries and coffee. The sticky buns and sourdough sticks are my favorite. They even have some little tables in the back and had room to eat in on a weekend morning!

This place had the friendliest service. The older gentleman behind the counter was so nice, answered all my questions, and even let us wash our hands behind the bar. The pistachio croissant was amazing, the bagel was great, and the cinnamon challah bread was delicious. The muffin was solid, and the banana cake was like a super moist banana bread. We bought some sourdough to go, and he even threw in a couple of baguettes for us! It's a really cute little bakery with plenty of seating in the back. Oh, and the sticky bun was heavenly.

I ordered 4 breads via the Mercato online ordering site. The delivery came on the day scheduled, but Mercato refused to give me a refund. The bread was AWFUL....I had such high hopes for this bread. the 2 sourdough boule size breads had a stink to them. The italian bread had same stink to it. The 4th item, a mini baguette, was not even included in my order but I was still charged for it.
I'm not sure if it was because this was a delivery and they send out leftover old bread to their customers. I hate writing bad reviews, but this is an honest one.
Hopefully if there are fresh breads, those are the ones they include in the delivery, not the stinky smell and old ones I received.
I had to throw away all 3 breads, because there was a musky smell, and it looks hard and stale, NOT fresh at all. Since this was an absolute waste of money, I won't be going to this bread company again.
Very disappointed both in Amy's bread and Mercato service, BOTH 0 stars. Awful. Waste of money.

I’ve literally been going to Amy’s since I was 5 years old with my parents. As an adult, it’s so nice to have such a staple bakery in the neighborhood that has such delicious baked goods. Almond brioche toasts, baguettes, cheese biscuits, and cherry cream scones are my faves. Definitely an icon in HK.

I first came here in 2022 on a trip and I dreamed of the cranberry orange muffin I ate everyday after since. This time around, happy to be back, I tried an apple crumble muffin and it was divine. My friend had a pistachio twist which was rated a 10/10. This place does not disappoint and is worth the try/hype.
