We loved this place while visiting NYC. The server plugged my phone in to charge while we ate and was very friendly. The Biryani was AMAZING! I will definitely visit again if in the city. I dream about that Biryani and I want to try the Korma.
I got the chili tofu here togo. The photo on happycow made me think it would be a wet chili tofu but this was a very dry style. There were also no peppers in it. The taste was ok, but I don’t think I would order it again. It was sadly not very spicy either. I thought they would ask for my preferred spice level, but they did not. I really like Indian food so I might give this place another try sometime and try something different.

the chana masala and the dal were a 10/10
the dosa was hands down better than saravana bhavan
also appreciate a vegan dessert that’s not an after thought !
would highly recommend !!
