Stopped into Anassa Taverna for dinner and it was a nice neighborhood spot for Greek fare. I had the octopus and the branzino, and both were very good—fresh, well-cooked, and flavorful. Some of the other dishes on the menu felt a bit overpriced for what they were, but overall it was a solid dinner. Nothing mind-blowing, but I’d come back if I was in the area and craving Greek.
We had the pleasure of dining at this location when it first opened up. The food was flawless and there was an excellent wine selection to pick from for dinner and dessert. But the service is what truly made this location great!
Table bread was nice and crispy. Beat salad with a side of shrimp was very good. Salmon was tasty slightly undercooked but still very good. Today was a perfect weather day with a window table seat. Excellent service.
