Came here for the lava seasame crepe roll and it did not disappoint. The crunchy flakes on top added texture to a creamy and most importantly, not to sweet, crepe roll. It’s so soft and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend coming here just for this. Will definitely be back to try every single one of these beautiful and unique treats.
First of all, this is not a paid review. Secondly, I genuinely loved it. I am Asian of course. I read a lot of poor reviews of this place and I just wanna say, it’s hard to please the ones who are not into the Asian flavors that haven’t been modified for the non-Asians. Lastly, as a spatial designer myself, not the best/heavily invested design I have seen, but it doesn’t look like they tried to save money like some reviews suggested.
This was our first time here, and we were really excited to try the pastries. We ordered the oolong cheesecake, which was rich and delicious. We also tried the cheese sponge cake (comes with 3 pieces) and the taro salted egg yolk cream puffs (also 3 pieces). In our opinion, the cheese sponge cake was the winner among the three, followed by the cheesecake and then the cream puffs.
Unfortunately, having to buy 3 pieces of each item makes it hard for first-time...
