Absolutely dreadful experience…
We were shocked by how outdated and poorly maintained Angelina’s is.

It’s nothing like the establishments you find in Paris.
The service was really bad —staff were unfriendly and very unpleasant.
The tables hadn’t been cleaned after previous customers, which was off-putting.

The hot chocolate was bland and tasteless and the cakes were not freshly baked at all.
To make matters worse, the music was unbearably loud, making it impossible to enjoy any part of the experience.

The place is really beautiful, but the food portions are very small, and the teas are expensive

The hot chocolate is amazing. The food is… fine. The bacon was dynamite but the breakfast pastries weren’t fresh. If I go back it will only be for the hot chocolate.

Food was great, yummy! Totally recommend for a nice meal. Didn't go there for dinner, but probably is as good as it is for brunch.

We only got dessert and hot chocolate. I can't describe how fabulous everything tasted. Definitely will be going here every night I visit NYC.

The tea was overcooked and it was pricey for the bland and bitter food. Very expensive for what it was worth. Our server was great though and the place looks very pretty! But other then a good influencer the crepes tasted just as bad as depression feels

A gem of a place for breakfast. We had a great breakfast on our weekend in NYC. Fluffy omelettes, delicate pastries, and the best hot chocolate that we have had on this continent.

The hot chocolate was perfect, but extremely expensive! The atmosphere and servers were very nice. Everything is just overpriced though!

Had such a lovely experience at Angelina Paris! Their signature hot chocolate is a must-try—rich, and thick. I got the omelette, which was well-seasoned, and my friend ordered the French toast with berries and mascarpone cream—absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The pastries on display looked incredible too, and the whole restaurant had that elegant charm.

Got the small famous hot chocolate ($8.6 including tax, not tip). Way too concentrated. Had to throw it! Would have been better if it was diluted with half the concentration.

This place serves French food, but honestly the flavors were just okay. The chocolate bread was a bit dry, and the chocolate dessert and drink were way too rich for me to finish. On the plus side, the staff speak French, which really adds to the vibe, and the plating was very elegant. The real highlight here is the atmosphere—it’s beautiful and the location is super convenient. If you’re going more for the ambiance than the food, it’s definitely worth a visit.

Five star for hot chocolate. But cappuccino is just like Starbucks. We paid ~$14 for a medium hot chocolate and a small cappuccino combined. Probably the best hot chocolate in NewYork midtown as they bring the melted chocolate directly from Paris for this.
