Visited this establishment today by chance. We were in the area and had some time to kill. It was absolutely delicious. I ordered a medium cup which comes with 3 flavors. I tried the mango, the blueberry white chocolate, and the white chocolate raspberry cobbler. They all had chunks in them. The mango had mango chunks, the blueberry had white chocolate and blueberry, and the raspberry had cobbler pieces. If things like that bother you, this may not be your thing. All the flavors were delicious and I would definitely go back to try more flavors.
I will say the service was not my favorite. I had never been there before today and the girl helping me was more concerned with flirting with the guy she was working with then answering my questions. She had me repeat myself multiple times and I had to wait multiple times for her to finish talking to him before I could tell her the next flavored I wanted. The cashier was super friendly which somewhat made up for it. Either way the Gelato speaks for itself, delicious and will definitely will return for that.

The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout our visit. They were happy to answer questions and made us feel very welcome. The gelato was absolutely delicious—especially the pistachio flavor, which is a must-try! I highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for great service and amazing gelato.

AMAZING gelato! I got the caramel/cookie/cheesecake flavor, and it is now my #1 favorite flavor of either gelato or ice cream. We made a 2nd visit here just so I could have some more of it. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

The staff was friendly and helped us choose from the many flavors available. Prices are a bit premium, but the quality makes it worth it. If you’re looking for authentic Italian gelato in New York, I definitely recommend stopping by.
Wow, OK this was the best gelato I’ve ever had in the city. I have always wanted to go to this place, but I’ve been a little bit worried because the line always seem really long, but it moves super quickly and despite being really crowded for a Friday evening, the service was so friendly. They let you sample as many flavors as you’d like and they gave you a really solid amount of gelato. I know people will complain about the price, but it was so delicious. Definitely worth it and also the flavors were just so creative and so fun - really high-quality and they were consistently topping them up too. I would strongly recommend and don’t be intimidated by the long line! Tons of seating outside too.

After exploring New York, stopping by Anita Gelato was the perfect way to cool down and treat ourselves. The shop offers an incredible selection of flavors, from classic favorites to unique creations, and every scoop was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. It was hard to choose because everything looked so tempting!
The staff was friendly and generous with samples, making it easier to find the perfect combination. The atmosphere was lively, and despite the crowd, the service was quick and efficient.
If you’re a fan of authentic gelato, Anita Gelato is definitely worth the visit. It’s a delicious treat that’s perfect after a day of sightseeing, and it’s easy to see why it’s one of New York’s most popular dessert spots. I’ll definitely be back to try even more flavors on my next visit!
