Came in as a party of four and were automatically charged a 20% tip, even though the restaurant’s own website says that only applies to parties of five or more. No heads-up, no explanation.
Service was average and the server barely acknowledged our table, and the portion sizes were small for the price. We normally tip 18%, but for this level of service, 20% was not deserved. Disappointing overall, and we would’ve appreciated the option to tip based on actual experience.
