Patroon is as good as NYC gets. The food is outstanding and so is the service EXEMPLIFIED by Stefan, who treats each of us like returning friends. Patroon is so lucky to have him greeting and welcoming all of us. That is a lost art in NYC that he is a Master at maintaining.
Come to New York once a year and always make a pilgrimage to Aretskys, hidden away on 46th street it feels like a home from home with excellent service from a family owned establishment. The waiter Stephane is excellent, the food wonderfully presented and delicious, drinks selection excellent. Noise level was high when we visited this time due to two energetic diners on neighbouring table, they left just before us whereupon a haven of peace descended ending our meal lovely. Will...
Fabulous as always especially Stephan our server. We had the Schnitzel but split it because the portion is giant. Caesar to start.Tableside with a flair. Light touch with the macerated sardine and voila-perfection. Drinks well crafted and generous. We live in Southern California so only get here 2-3 times a year but always feel like home upon arrival.
