This place combines flavors in ways that simply work. I appreciated the ambiance and found the meals good. Staff members approach every table with sincere warmth. This place serves delicious dishes, charges sensibly and provides great care. I look forward to my next visit to try new dishes.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing experience! Food was phenomenal. Owner Wali was very welcoming and hospitable. Potato bolani was the best! Must try!
Valy did an amazing job on customer service. The food was delicious, the location gives so much good vibes. it was my first time having this such an Afghan food. I recommend place go and try it once.
If there was a -1 star I would have given that. I have no idea how they got 4.2 rating. Their rating should be 0. The server gave us chicken sambosa and it was rotten after that for Aushak Burida there was no beef in the dish and he tried to scam us saying it comes with out beef but the menu clearly says it has beef included in that dish and the Kabuli Pulao was not enough even for 1 person half of the plate was just salad. They charged so much and the food is really bad for the price.
Never go to this place.

The food is good but the ratio of rice to meat is insane for the price you pay.

Never have I ever got scammed like this in New York City. We paid $150 for the equivalent of 2 platters at any halal cart. The portion was ridiculously small. Please be aware!

The quality was truly terrible; this is the greatest betrayal to Afghans and Afghanistan because it presents a completely low-quality dish under the name of Afghan cuisine! I ordered several types of dishes, and none of them tasted like authentic Afghan food. The meat in the Qabili Palaw was boiled and raw, and the rice was low quality, with the raisins and carrots cooked separately. The kofta, which should be made with lamb, was prepared with chicken and was inedible. The mantu, which is supposed to be a very delicious traditional dish, tasted like dough. The spinach tasted like sour grass. The only thing that was somewhat decent was the yogurt drink, but yogurt drinks are the same everywhere. The owner claimed to have 37 years of experience, but the food served to customers could have been made by someone who has never cooked before—and even better. If you are considering going there to try Afghan food, I strongly advise against it. This was my worst experience at an Afghan restaurant, and I hope you never have to go through such a thing!
