Let's just be real: Artichoke Basille's is the worst slice I've had in NYC.
The only reason I even tried this place was my manager's enthusiastic recommendation, which he gave when he was clearly hammered. My sober reality? It's the worst pizza I've had in NYC, and I let him know it.
The unforgivable sin here is the salt. Everything on the slice, every layer, is aggressively, overwhelmingly salty. It’s not seasoned well; it’s a sodium overload that kills every other potential flavor.
Credit where it’s due: the crust is good, and the slices are absolutely huge. The service was okay, the place was empty, and I appreciated the little outdoor standing tables for grabbing a quick bite.
But ultimately, nothing saves it from the salt. It's a hard pass. I'm sticking to Prince St Pizza from now on.

The artichoke pizza here is the best. I have been telling all my friends about it and go here every time I get a chance.

Stood in line for 20 minutes and realized that not a single order had been taken from the people in line only takeout orders were being filled - also noted there were only 3 people working in the entire place (given how busy they were you would expect more) and not a single one was talking to customers. So I asked the guy behind the counter if they were taking orders from People in line and he just shook his head no and returned to making pizza …interesting business model??

for late night cravings for pizza this place has everything beat for miles.
Extra cheesy and stretchy pizza ...lol.

Good after a night out. Can't beat it.

Be prepared for tipsy and loud people if you come in late night

Overcharged us at least $25 last night. Cashier lied and said he gave us the receipt but he did not and he played dumb when we told him he indeed did not give us the receipt. He quoted us a ridiculously low price last night which we now know was bold-faced lie. They do not post the prices anywhere inside intentionally. They will try to take advantage if they think you’re drunk late at night. We were not. We checked the credit card charge today. We will not come back and we obviously do not recommend. Be very careful for their scams.

Tried the artichoke pizza and loved it! The slice is huge and the flavor was excellent. Tasted like artichoke dip on a slice, definitely worth trying!

Artichoke slice was gigantic but it was slightly sweet and the main flavor is cream. There was not very much artichoke flavor.

My usual go to spot. Not sure what went wrong but this was a very bad pie. Wet undone pizza with extra burnt crust. Not enjoyable at all. Got the Margherita. The basil didnt taste fresh. Seems like they used a different cheese which made the dough soft and wet. The sauce is the winner here..
