My girlfriend and I both came here to kill time before seeing family. I was so surprised how pleasant the atmosphere was and surprised how affordable the menu was given the quality. Service was some of the best I've had in a long time. I'd consider it a hidden gem in the area. Can't recommend enough.

I'm surprised they didn't have truffle fries on this menu, but it wasn't missed. The waygu sliders melted in my mouth and the lobster rolls were buttery, sweet, and fresh. The spicy prickly pear and smoky pineapple margaritas were both refreshing and well balanced. They were very different and unexpected from my usual beverage choices, but I'm glad I stepped out of my comfort zone to try new flavors. The staff was attentive and hospitable. The ambience is sexy and sultry, and there is an incredible view of the neighborhood below and the skyline. It was the perfect place to hang out solo, in a date, or with friends before heading to the MET Opera.

For any social occasion, better than a meetup at a standard restaurant. Location and views ,service and dishes- All Perfect. And probably the most extension bar menu ever. Our party met there for a drink, planning on moving afterwards to a full menu restaurant. We never did. Ascent was too appealing,exceeding all of our expectations.

We went for cocktails and snacks after attending the radio city Christmas show. Beautiful skyline views. The menu was varied and everything we ordered was excellent. Perfect finger food with cocktails. It was a great respite and we lucked into a snowy evening- magical!

Iryna is the BEST manager ever!! It would be great if Ascent could ban flash photos. There's was a table of 2 women who literally spent hours doing nothing but taking flash photos of one another, which was quite annoying to everyone around them.
