Iryna is the BEST manager ever!! It would be great if Ascent could ban flash photos. There's was a table of 2 women who literally spent hours doing nothing but taking flash photos of one another, which was quite annoying to everyone around them.

I’ve walked by this place 1 million times and I never knew it existed, but to be honest, I’m not really drawn to places in a mall
I’ll have to say walking in I was surprised it is cute. It does have a view and it’s a big space the view overlooks Columbus Circle and it’s Kinda Cute.
However, just like most rooftop bars, which this isn’t a rooftop bar, but it’s closed the drinks are way overpriced and not good
I had two different drinks and didn’t like any of it. I don’t know if I’ll come back maybe if I have a visiting friend in the area and I want a cute bar with a view maybe if it was snowing outside it’d be cool to watch the snowfall, but there’s better bars in the city.

Since our very first event at Ascent Lounge back in 2016, they have shown MCC such generosity and support. Time and again, they have worked with us to make sure our events fit within our nonprofit budget, without ever compromising on the quality or elegance of the experience.
Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of hosting fundraisers, kickoff celebrations, parent gatherings, staff holiday parties, and even team-building events with our MCC community at Ascent Lounge. Each time, the atmosphere, service, and hospitality have been exceptional, creating memorable experiences for our MCC staff, families, supporters and donors.
One of the things that makes hosting events at Ascent Lounge and Allure Cocktail Lounge such a treat is their vast menu selection and exceptional cocktails. The cocktails are crafted with care and flair and always leave a lasting impression on our guests.
We’ve also been fortunate to host events across many City Nights Hospitality locations—including Ascent Lounge at Columbus Circle in the Time Warner Center, Allure Cocktail Lounge, and 48 Lounge—and each venue has offered its own unique charm while maintaining the same level of excellence.

Great location and great cocktails. Very nice ambiance. We were seated so we could look out the windows and see the light fade across Central Park.,food is pretty mediocre but the drinks were really good and strong! We will return for the great cocktails and view.

My friend and I met for great cocktails but when I tried to pay the bill with ApplePay the wait staff said that Ascent would only accept a card with a chip. They explained that this was to protect ME should I have a dispute. What???
Anyway, I complained to the manager and was bowled over by how charming, respectful, courteous and professional Yarina (spelling?) dealt with the issue. She apologized gracefully, processed by payment and made a very generous accommodation for the inconvenience. That’s service! She is a major asset at Ascent and I hope she’s much appreciated by management. More hospitality businesses should have staff like Yarina. Thank you!!

The atmosphere is modern, stylish, and perfect for a date night, an evening out with friends, or even hosting a special event.
I genuinely enjoyed every minute I spent there. I highly recommend visiting — you won’t regret it! On Saturday nights, the vibe is amazing with a great DJ and a lively crowd that brings the whole place to life.

Absolutely Perfect for Big Events! I just visited this incredible venue and was blown away! It’s truly the best space in the city for large events — spacious, beautifully designed, and can comfortably accommodate a big crowd.
I had the pleasure of meeting Brian and Matija, who were so welcoming and gave us a great tour of the place. Their energy and hospitality really set the tone for what this venue is all about.
The food? Delicious. The cocktails? Next level. I can honestly say I’ve never had a better cocktail in New York! The bartender was not only friendly but incredibly knowledgeable — clearly passionate about what they do.
I highly recommend this place for any big event. You won’t find a better combo of space, service, and atmosphere.

I had an unfortunate experience with the front desk associate, Yurina, which I feel compelled to share. Her demeanor was surprisingly dismissive and unwelcoming, which I found inappropriate for someone in a front-facing role.
I had come into the mall to use the restroom, but found the third floor facilities were closed for cleaning. I proceeded to the fourth floor to look for an alternative and noticed Ascent. I approached the front desk and explained that the downstairs restroom was closed, and asked if she could kindly direct me to another.
Her response was a curt, “Only for customers.” I was taken aback—not because of the policy itself, but because of the lack of basic courtesy and helpfulness in the exchange. While I may not have been a customer in that moment, I certainly might have been in the future. Unfortunately, that interaction made it clear I wouldn’t feel comfortable supporting a business that treats members of the public in such a manner.
