An opinionated New Yorker changes her mind. Who needs another Per Se review? Between the 3 Michelin Stars, the Grandes Tables du Monde etc, it has plenty of accolades. My husband and I took our 18 year-old food-loving son as a celebration- I went in with low expectations as I had been there twice over 15 years ago, and found it fusty and corporate. Everything about this place reassures you why they have a longstanding Michelin star rating in NYC. From the moment you enter, you are catered to with care. Every dietary restriction we threw their way(we have many), was happily accommodated. Each course was amazing, even when we asked for seconds. Ambiance gave a chic old New York, but calm and comforting as we were by the fire. We will definitely return frequently ?
